Could we see the return of Kylo Ren at some point in the galaxy far, far away? It may seem unlikely after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy recently suggested that we may not have seen the last of the sequel trilogy's main characters, and it sounds like Adam Driver could be convinced to reprise the role.
During a recent interview to promote The House of Gucci, Driver was asked about the possibility of stepping back into the role of the powerful force-wielder, and admitted that he's "definitely not averse" to playing the character again.
“No, I’m totally not against [doing more Star Wars],” the actor told UNILAD. “For me, it’s a filmmaker’s medium, so my only thing is working with great filmmakers. Whatever the size… it’s never been interesting to me, to an extent. There’s interesting things about working on both. I always just follow people I’d be interested in working with, and whether I’d be right for the part – things like that. No, definitely not averse.”
Of course, Ben Solo died at the end of The Rise of Skywalker after turning his back on Kylo Ren and the Dark Side and helping Rey (Daisy Ridley) defeat Palpatine once and for all. Death is far from final in the Star Wars universe, though, and Driver could always return for either a prequel film/series or as a Force Ghost.
There have been rumors that Kylo Ren will be a part of one of the upcoming Disney+ shows, but no solid sources to back them up.
