I don't know what to think about that 7. I guess I'm on the fence. At least George Lucas won't have his sweaty paws all over these movies......Hasn't been a great Star Wars movie since 1983, since the prequels were bantha fodder imo

It does look pretty real. I don't know how I feel about it. As long as this is the promotional logo and not the logo that rolls down at the beginning credits, I'm fine with it.

Loved all the OT movies, I really liked 3 of the prequels. And although I didn't hate Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, I can't see Star Wars getting worse than that (Unless it's the holiday special), So I'm cautiously optimistic either way.

probably just a placeholder until the actual logo is released. Like how Transformers 4's logo isn't the teaser poster, it's Transformers Age of Extinction.

It's probably just one of those promo images that they make, probably for shareholders or something of that nature, but that classic image is too iconic to screw up and JJ and Disney aren't that stupid.

Besides they need a logo that will run through all their movies, so that would be pretty stupid to just throw in a 7 just in their first movie and an 8 in the next and so forth.
