SPIDER-MAN Star J.K. Simmons In Talks To Join The Cast Of TERMINATOR GENESIS
He played J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, and now J.K. Simmons has set his sights on another franchise; Alan Taylor's upcoming Terminator Genesis. Hit the jump to find out who he'll be playing in the movie which also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger.
With Arnold Schwarzenegger set to return as The Terminator and Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, and Jai Courtney set to play John Connor, Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese respectively, Alan Taylor's (Thor: The Dark World) Terminator: Genesis is putting together a very impressive cast. The latest addition is none other than Spider-Man star J.K. Simmons, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, he will play "a weary and alcoholic detective who has followed a bizarre case involving Sarah Connor and robots for more than three decades (since 1984, which, not coincidentally, is the year the original movie, directed by James Cameron, was released)." I'm not sure about you guys, but this movie just keeps sounding better and better to me!
