With Arnold Schwarzenegger set to return as The Terminator and Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, and Jai Courtney set to play John Connor, Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese respectively, Alan Taylor's (Thor: The Dark World) Terminator: Genesis is putting together a very impressive cast. The latest addition is none other than Spider-Man star J.K. Simmons, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, he will play "a weary and alcoholic detective who has followed a bizarre case involving Sarah Connor and robots for more than three decades (since 1984, which, not coincidentally, is the year the original movie, directed by James Cameron, was released)." I'm not sure about you guys, but this movie just keeps sounding better and better to me!

They need to go ahead and cast J.K. Simmons as JJJ in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise. If there's one actor from the original trilogy they could bring back it's him, he IS JJJ as far as I'm concerned. It's lame to me that they're really doing two Spider-Man films in a row without Peter working at the daily bugle. I mean, I know he doesn't work there in the comics right now, but still though...

After T3, I've pretty much given up on the franchise. If this looks good, I'll check it out.
