Teaser Trailer For TRON 3 Being Released With Blu-Ray For Both TRON & TRON: Legacy?

In 1982 sci-fi fans were treated with arguably the greatest special effects based movie in the form of TRON. The film stared Jeff Bridges, Bruce Boxleitner and David Warner. It went on to be a cult success for almost Thirty years before the highly wanted sequel, TRON: Legacy made its way to the silver screen in December of 2010.

TRON: Legacy was a huge stepping stone for a possible franchise to start from a movie made twenty-eight years prior. Disney of course remained confident in the film giving it an insanly high budget of 200 million dollars. The film went on to gross over 300 milliom world wide(so far) and a sequel is seeming more and more possible, even with the mediocre reviews.

A TRON fan page known as TRON-SECTOR are reporting that not only is a sequel on its way but that a teaser trailer should surface within the next few months. The article stated that it will appear on the DVD and Blu-Ray releases of TRON & TRON: Legacy. The release onto Blu-Ray and DVD is expected soon as the cover art has already surfaced.

This is by no means confirmation and should be taken with a grain of salt until proven true. TRON & TRON: Legacy are expected to hit shelves on Blu-Ray and DVD sometime in Fall of this year.

I think it might be a teaser like 2009 star trek teaser. That the movie came out in 2009 but had a teaser in 2006 on Clerks 2 DVD that just showed them building the enterprise. I think this will just be an announcement teaser that wont reveal shit except that tron 3 is coming if this is all even true.

It takes 28 years for the first one to get a sequel and the second one gets one just like that.

@ Paul I agree beleive it when I see it.

But it really needs one. Tron Legacy ended with to many unanswered questions.

actually i work at The Computer animation studios in orlando , and we are working closely with full sail and we already have base plates for the 3rd movie in the works these are test tracks we are working on and I am not sure if they will be used in any context, we also had done alot of work on legacy which was not used in the movie that was not scrapped , whether this footage will be used in the DVD release or in a future cut I also dont know. I can say this I have seen the studio mock ups for some of the new series that will be coming out nest year and they look amazing the new light trike looks amazing

Hopefully in the 3rd movie, the character of TRON played by Bruce Boxleitner will have a bigger part!!

I doubt there will be any footage because they are not even filming anything. They might together some they didn't use from Legacy. But I can't wait for a third one.I thought Legacy was pretty good, and it did leave some unanswered questions.I think Tron himself will play a larger role in the third, and Dillinger's son will most likely be the villian.Another scenerio could be that an outside user hacks into the program and tries to take it over from Flynn.Awesome, can't wait!!!
