Tyler Perry is all of a sudden a Sci-fi fan and and Aliens fan....I wonder if he loved Alien Resurrection, which he probaly bases his horrible Madea movies on....I hope he just stops making movies period especially before he ruins the science-fiction genre.

HE'S disappointed with Prometheus?!? This guy was 15 years behind Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy with the "cross-dressing, fat-lady" concept and HE'S disappointed. Mr. Perry, I understand your disappointment, because most of your work would have to be promoted 6 times just to reach the dizzying heights of "disappointing".

I know his films are made for people who like that type of film. They're called "special" or "low-functioning". They even have their own Olympics. Good for them.

Oh, he didn't like it. It's ok, Ridley Scott didn't like Madea films.

Prometheus was a bad movie the only good of it was the special effects. And Tyler Perry actually makes good movies if you actually watch the madea movie its not only about comedy is how a family deals with issues and how they get over with, yea it has comedy in it. But what movies don't? And it is not only "Black people" who go see madea movies is a lot of other races who go watch it to. I seen madea movies in the theater and other of his and there were Hispanic, white, black, even Asian, Indianans, Arabs watching it and they all were laughing at his jokes! So stop hating on him for saying the truth and i cant wait to see his sci-fi movie. And im Hispanic and i like his movie.And yes there are some racist comments.

@Ralifinader I'm sure my white mother and white wife will be very heart broken to suddenly learn that after 37 years in this world that I suddenly hate "whitey". Now the comment I was referring to was removed after I made my comment cause I don't see it there now. I like how people can dog others in forums (very easy for soft chumps to hide behind a keyboard, like you suddenly grew a pair) but when you call some one on some stupid bs others are quick to jump on a platform they know nothing about. If you didn't say something racist or ignorant then I wasn't talking to you. I love this site and I come here every day. It just really kills me to see that a place where even my kids come to to find out about comic book movies that I introduce them to has to have so much hate at times. Honestly I'm not a fan of the Madea movies, I won't pay to see them but what I read earlier that made me comment made me sick and pissed me off. Perry is entitled to his opinion just as the rest of us are but any one that blasts him cause of his skin color or anyone else for that matter should be checked. So once again if you didn't say it then I wasn't talking to you.

I think that if you have to use racism as part (or all) of your argument, then you are a moron deserving of the ridicule you must receive on a daily basis.

Having said that, I thought Prometheus was "okay". Nothing great, but better than anything Mr. Perry has EVER done. To those of you equating his bank account with his intelligence and integrity; you are the type of people that Bernie Madoff would LOVE. After all, aren't the super rich just the nicest people? Aren't they? Anyone?

Anyone claiming that Prometheus was a good movie does not have a valid opinion. Fact. The Madea films make money. I don't like them, but again they aren't made for me (I'm black, by the way). I don't like Scott Pilgrim, either. That was made for white people and it's idiotic. >;) The end.
