SHANG-CHI And WHAT IF...? Standees Reveal New Look At Zombie Captain America, Party Thor, Morris, And More

New standees for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and What If...? reveal new looks at several characters from both MCU projects, including Razor Fist and the post-apocalyptic Black Widow...

Yesterday, we got a first look at Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel thanks to a standee for the Disney+ series, but now it's time for the characters in What If...? to receive the spotlight.

Some of these characters (like Captain Carter and Star-Lord) will be familiar to you, but there are some great new shots of other heroes and villains from the Multiverse here, including a post-apocalyptic version of Black Widow we believe is from a timeline where Ultron wins, Jeffrey Wright's Watcher, Party Thor, Erik Killmonger, and Gamora (minus Thanos' armour, surprisingly).

However, it's the Zombie Captain America we want to address.

As you can see, it appears one of his legs is basically hanging off, and we cannot wait to see what happens to bring the Marvel Zombies into this version of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This Steve Rogers is quite clearly beyond saving, and we don't know if What If...?'s undead superheroes will retain their memories and intelligence as their comic book counterparts did.

We also have some badass standees for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Much of the imagery here is familiar as it's already been revealed on packaging for Marvel Legends action figures, but there is one surprise: Morris! The mysterious creature, based on a Dijiang from Chinese culture, has been spotted as a toy, but this promo shot reveals what he'll look like in the movie itself.

What If...? premieres on Disney+ on August 11, while Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will debut in theaters on September 3. Keep checking back here for updates on both.

I like that Awkwafina is going to become some kind of archer instead of just remaining the comedy relief sidekick. That seems neat. Though I'm also hoping she's the love interest.

I’m kinda hoping she’s a one and done and gets taken out. I mean we need stakes and we all know Shang Chi ain’t going anywhere. She just gives me Darcy vibes.

I just wish for once Marvel could have costumes without all the stupid pads and racing stripes and shit. It always looks like "Nike for Marvel." That said, super excited for Shang Chi, all the ads have been great.

@IcePyke -

From Google: Hundun (Chinese: 混沌; pinyin: Hùndùn; Wade–Giles: Hun-tun; lit. 'muddled confusion') is both a "legendary faceless being" in Chinese mythology and the "primordial and central chaos" in Chinese cosmogony, comparable with the world egg.

Okay, this is the most weirdest mythological creature I've ever seen.

That Thor costume is really good! Wish the movie one would be that solid. They've never really nailed his look on screen. Interested in this show for the different scenarios of stuff we've seen

@Dredd97 - do hope we also get to see him wear the helmet. Should be possible in animation, since now it doesn't obscure the actor's face

@bkmeijer - damn wasn't the one in Thor for 5min great? Wish we could've had that going forward. They could've even modified it to be like a warrior helmet or something

@Dredd97 - yeah I think with the one scene where he is about to get crowned. Other than that, we never saw it I think.

@Dredd97 - yeah thats the one. Gotta be honest though, I can see why didn't have him wear it for more scenes. Looks a little too large in my opinion

@bkmeijer - yeah that's fair. They could've found a way to streamline it or something

Steve Rogers gave off more apocalypse vibes in Infinity War than this Black Widow does and all he did was run away from home.

Anyway, really looking forward to both of these!
