Sin City 2 Update From Jamie King

Sin City 2 Update From Jamie King

The luscious Jamie King who played twin sisters Goldie and Wendy in Sin City, gave us an update on the sequel. It sounds as if it's still being made, which was a worry after the tremendous sucking sound that "The Spirit" made at the box office.

"I think when Sin City came out it was such a big hit for [The Weinstein Company] but the studio is frustrating… sometimes studios are awesome because they have a great vision for something, but then they want to do weird things with the second one. Robert [Rodriguez] didn't want to go down that route, so we've just be waiting till somebody knocked some sense into them, where we can do it the way we want to do it."

"None of the filmmakers or the actors were willing to sacrifice doing it any other way other than what we wanted to do it. I'm hoping we'll do it sometime this year. But you know how movies are… I remember I was with Robert and he said we're going in two months. I was like okay, we'll have to work out everybody's schedule. But then it got pushed. So you never really know with movies. It happens when it happens."

YEAH! Weird ass companies trying to make a fortune outta something by turning it into something original when it should be made well adapted from it's origin! Sin City 2 will be done well if they keep Rodriguez and Miller on the project. I can't wait for A Dame to Kill For!!!

Ah, Jamie King, by far the worst of the lot of them.

Keep Rodriquez, sack Miller.

Yes, let's sack Miller.

What DID Miller ever do for us?

Oh and the first SIN CITY movie.
Yes let's get rid of him, what could the writer, artist and co director of the first movie possibly contribute to Sin City 2?

Blaze - don't forget the Wolverine mini-series (the one that in many respects redefined the character!) I agree, what good is Frank? What did he ever do?

Frank Garret is a Class A Moron. Thank You to Rodriguez and all actors involved for sticking it out on the studio to ensure we don't get another studio tampered EPIC fail. I personally hope they use the "Blue Eyes" story and others that include Dalia. Also, "A Dame To Kill For" would be freaking awesome(Even though they already did "Big Fat Kill"). Really, any story the use with Marv or Dwight is awesome. Thats why I think "A Dame To Kill For" should be the story, because the 2 of them work together in it. I love the noir, Humphrey Bogart feel that Sin City has always given me when I read the stories. It is so captivating, powerful, and sexy. I can't wait.

He also gave us All-Star Batman, TDKSA and Will Eisner's [sic] The Spirit.

You can list all the comic books he wrote, that doesn't change the fact that the man is no director. He was nothing more than a glorified consultant on Sin City the movie, with the scenes he directed ending up with cardboard acting.

He only made one ginormous flop of a movie. Everyone's entitles to at least one. I'll give up hope on him if he severly muffs up a second time. Hopefully he's learned from it.

The first was awesome and he can't mess the next one up if Rodriguez is involved.
