Tobey Maguire becoming infected by the Venom symbiote in Spider-Man 3 (2007) was nothing short of an iconic moment in any Spider-Man film to date, for the infamous "Bully Maguire" meme was born because of it.

Though the wall-crawler did not don the black suit for very long in the threequel, this new official look at a Tobey Maguire action figure made by Hot Toys provides a very concise look at the webhead being overtaken by the symbiote.

*Though this is an official look of the Hot Toys collectible, the prototype is not the complete final product*

The collectible looks just as, if not better, than what we eventually received in the final version of Spider-Man 3, for fans cannot help but convey their support, as the "Bully Maguire" meme continues to live on after 16-years; here is some feedback:

Literally breathtaking - @lberOrtayl19

Bully Maguire is back bitches - @diewo_vailel

Man if little kid me saw this he'd lose his mind lmfao... This is clean - @TGuy902

Hot Toys presents the 1/6th scale Spider-Man (Black Suit) Collectible Figure, inspired by his alternate look in Spider-Man 3.

Carefully crafted based on the appearance of Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man/ Peter Parker wearing Black Suit from Spider-Man 3, the one-sixth scale figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeball system, an interchangeable masked head; a greatly-poseable body for dynamic poses; faithful recreation of the black suit with raised silver webbing patterns; accessories such as alien symbiote arms and head with protruding tongue, Spider-Man mask, assorted spider-web webbing accessories, and a themed display base.

A Special Edition available in selected markets will include an additional symbiote alien head as bonus item as exclusive display option.

The Spider-Man figure in Black Suit is a great addition to your web collection!

Spider-Man 3 is a 2007 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. Produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainment and Laura Ziskin Productions, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it was directed by Sam Raimi from a screenplay he co-wrote with his older brother Ivan and Alvin Sargent. It is the third and final installment in Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, and the sequel to Spider-Man (2002) and Spider-Man 2 (2004).

The film stars Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Thomas Haden Church, Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard, James Cromwell, Rosemary Harris, and J. K. Simmons.

Did the Venom face look that good in the movie? I somehow don't remember it looking that good.

@HammerLegFoot @TheFinestSmack - At no point in Spider-Man 3 did we get the Erik Larsen slimy Venom tongue.

I remember watching Spider-Man 3 alone in the theatre, and at the end of the movie I walked out highly disappointed. Butchered Sandman, the confusion on casting Topher Grace as Eddie Brock. Whatever that crap venom was. Emo Peter. Just a complete let down.

@HammerLegFoot - Underrated movie.

I remember watching Spider-Man 3 in a crowded theater and leaving in tears, it was that emotionally resonant and satisfying. All my fellow geeks in the theater also left in tears, but for different reasons.

Figure looks good. I do hope that if Holland's Spider-man ever gets the Venom suit it sticks to the comic book look with the slick looking black and white spider.

Fun Fact: Spider-Man 3, like Batman Forever, is not as bad as people claim it to be.

@Th3Batman - As far as "bad" superhero movies go, Spider-Man 3 is probably the best one.

As for Forever, while it has a lot of bad, it's also somehow FAR better than B&R. It's also a childhood favourite of mine, so I go easy on it.

@OrgasmicPotatoe - These 2 are Citizen Kane compared to some of the shit we've gotten recently, especially from the DCEU.

They also just released first images of their toys for spiderpunk/hobie and Miles G Morales Prowler.

Miles G is a nice surprise, figured he wouldnt be announced til Beyond, and he has cool accessories like the glove, the chains he first enters from, and motion blur effects for eyes and gloves… very cool!

@ReverseFlasher - Just watched the movie again on Blu-Ray. This is peak comic book cinema right here.

Also, I don't know if anyone noticed this but when they're all looking at the canon events, there's a shot where Spider-Punk is looking at his world's version of 'Spider-Man No More', Spider-Woman is looking at her world's version of The Master Planner story, Peter B. Parker is looking at the Wedding issue and Spider-Gwen is looking at an event that we can only see a small section of in the actual shot.

It looks like she's dead and is being held by someone as her world's version of the night that Gwen Stacy died.

This is her world's future. I think this is a tease of what happens in Beyond the Spider-verse.

@ObserverIO - totally agree, best comic movie and animated film in a while.

And nice catches, gonna have to load up my copy and check those out! Keep wondering what hints theyve laid for Beyond that I havent picked up on yet (some I have).

And still saving the filmmaker commentary track for the right mood/ a rainy day too lol
