Spider-Man: Homecoming featured a lot of very surprising moments but the biggest came right at the end when Aunt May discovered that her nephew is actually Queens' Friendly Neighbourhood superhero. Of course, that's a scene comic book fans will be familiar with as it occurred in J. Michael Straczynski's critically acclaimed Amazing Spider-Man run well over a decade ago.

Well, one fan who picked up the "One More Day" paperback from 2007 has uncovered a quote from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in which he reveals that his favourite Spidey moment - Aunt May walking in on her nephew unconscious in his costume - is one he wanted to bring to the big screen.

"My
favorite J.M.S. Spidey moment also happens to be my favorite Spidey moment period," he says. "Aunt May discovers Peter’s secret. It has become my mission to put that moment on the big screen. Someday we will. I promise." Well, Feige made good on his promise even though it took him a decade to do so! The comics Feige is referring to are Amazing Spider-Man #37 and then issue #38.
