We're Getting SPIDER-MAN 3 Flashbacks - Peter Parker Will Dance Again In SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

Are we going to get a repeat of the infamous "emo dance" scene from Spider-Man 3? Probably not, but Tom Holland says his take on Peter Parker will be busting a move in his next solo adventure...

One of the most derided moments from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 is the sequence in which Tobey Maguire's ultra-confident Peter Parker struts his stuff while under the influence of the Venom symbiote. All things considered it's actually a mildly amusing scene, but in the context of what was actually supposed to be happening to Parker at the time, busting a move wasn't really the best way to illustrate that the character was being corrupted by an evil alien creature.

Now, while it's highly unlikely we'll witness Tom Holland's take on the Marvel Comics icon do something similar in Spider-Man: Homecoming, during an interview with THR the young star revealed that he will be cutting a rug in some capacity in the film:

You've done a lot of dancing in your career. Does Peter Parker bust any moves?

Yes. There is a moment where he dances, and it's so funny. It's not good dancing. The internet has perceived me as this fantastic dancer. I can still do a couple pirouettes, but I am by no means a proper dancer.

We'll find out if this turns out to be as cringe-inducing as the "emo dance" when Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters next year.

I actually never had a problem in Spidey 3 where he's dancing down the street. That was actually funny and some good comic relief.

It was THIS MONSTROSITY...

that wasn't funny and took it too far. As long as Homecoming knows when to be funny and to be serious, I got not problem with Parker dancing.
