As i said above Kevin Feige is the head of MARVEL STUDIOS not Marvel or Sony so why was his name in the credits to the most recent TASM TV spot and BTS look at Gwen and Peter's relationship they are both linked down below.

Here is the picture:

As you can see his name is in the row along with Stan Lee in the executive producer line so basically this means something more i think. does this mean that Spider-Man could be in The Avengers 2 or 3?, does this mean they are set in the same universe ?, does this mean we will have a RDJ cameo in Spider-Man?
so many questions. But some of them will be revealed on July 3rd.

Also i just found a cute little interview on who told Emma Stone to audition for the part of Gwen Stacy have a guess who it is, it was Jennifer Lawrence who played Mystique in X-Men First Class and Katnis Everdeen in The Hunger Games. here is what Emma said:

'When I was almost going to turn this down because it was too big, my mom told me I was being a hypocrite, because I loved the story, loved the characters and I truly believe in the message that these films are bringing. I really don't feel like I'm being tied down to it -- especially after filming the first one, where I had the time of my life. I actually can't wait to go back. It's a character I would love to revisit. I think if you sign on to the right franchise [you're OK]. I don't feel like a slave to anyone. I feel like I'm very passionate about this story and what it means about our world and about humanity. It's something I want to talk about, I want people to see, and I'm proud to put my name to it.'

The Amazing Spider-Man is an upcoming 2012 American superhero film directed by Marc Webb. It is the fourth Columbia Pictures film that portrays Spider-Man in film and is a reboot of the Sam Raimi film series with Andrew Garfield replacing Tobey Maguire as the title role of the superhero. The cast also includes Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors. The film will portray Parker as his super powers are evolving in high school and will explore him trying to discover the truth behind his parents. With a theme of him discovering himself in the process. The film also brings to life new designs of the film franchise such as Parker inventing artificial webs like in the original comics instead of organic webs.

Why can I see there being an after credits scene where Spider-Man gets linked to Phase 2... It IS released after the Avengers and could POSSIBLY be our earliest Phase 2 movie... Just speculating ofc :)

hmmmmmmmm im tellin you i been sayin this for a while i have a suspicion marvel made deal to include spidey in cinematic U. and why not, its a perfect oportunity now that they are rebooting the franchise.
i believe, all around, the other studios see the kind of money that their vision has produced, and are are all on board so to speak.

I can see the after credits scene now.
Spider-Man swings onto the top of a building and hears a voice says something like "So, I hear you're a very interesting specimen Spider-Man".
Spidey looks back and the camera zooms into the side of a chimney.
Nick Fury steps out and you get a quick 2 second look at him, cut to black.
THAT would surely cause instant applause.

I winder if he liked the movie?
God, I hate waiting to see whether the reviews for this movie will be good or not.
I dint trust any of the twitter reviews, especially the native ones since both of those guys have it in for this movie and constantly talk crap about. One of them was the one that spread the rumor that Sony hated the movie. There's suppose to be a pre-release screening on the 18th or something, so we should definitely be hearing a lot more reactions around then.

I'm thinking a possible Avengers connection, but it's most likely that he's just mentioned like Stan Lee. I'm sure Stan didn't have a big part as a producer.

You guys may be stretching things a little too much. More likely, Keving meant something different from what you guys think he did when he said he "didn't have a role in it". But you could be right too. Who knows.

@SeaborneLegend It would need to be set, pre-avengers though as if it is set afterwards, well half of NYC should be destroyed, and I would like to think that even if Spider-Man had said 'No' to being an Avenger he would have helped once an alien invasion started.

So would need to establish a reason as to why he didn't show and help, can't just say he wasn't asked to join. Hopefully, and I am sure there is a way around it.

^^ that won't happen because they never show or talk about the damage that happens in other movies. If they did, the whole state should be in shambles.

Feige has been a producer on this from the start.

He was quoted a number of times in the early press releases about the hiring of Marc Webb and casting of Andrew Garfield.

Look it up.

As it has been pointed out above -- Kevin Feige is involved with all Marvel films. He is President of Production, after all. Will always receive a credit -- just like Stam Lee -- even if thu have no involvement with it. Anyway, Executive Producer literally means nothing most of the time. Just a shout out -- an honour.

it would be awesome though, and its a perfect time to do it because spiderman is starting fresh, but i will agree this inclusion as a producer may mean nothing at all
as for how it would fit in, i have to say after the events of the avengers.

I don't think you realise the difference between a executive producer and a producer, an executive in majority of the films has no direct involvement with the movie besides geting a little cut from the movie. Where as a producer is always involved with the project from the director right up to editing. So your theory is quite the huge [frick]ing stretch no offence. As cool as it would be to see spidey in the MCU where still years away before that becomes a reality.

While this could be an indicator that The Amazing Spider-Man is linked to The Avengers universe, you should all know that Marvel Studios do have active involvement in all their movie properties - even the ones being developed by different studios. They work quite closely with the studios in a sort of advisory role, and I'm pretty sure they get a small cut of the profits.
Any bad Marvel films, whether they'r Marvel Studios or made by Fox, Sony, etc, still reflects badly on Marvel, so I guess they do need some involvement. Of course, their advice isn't always taken.

That could also be why Fiege's name is up there, and since that deal Marvel made with Sony (buying back Spider-Man's merchandising rights or something?), perhaps Marvel have even more involvement than usual?

Ppl have been saying that Spidey cant be in the Avengers since his rights are at Sony, but so are all Spidey related characters, like the Oscorp tower, if Marvel considered adding in the Oscorp tower, wldnt that mean that Sony & Marvel have already considered partnering up? So whats the problem here?
