Days Before SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Is Released, Andrew Garfield Once Again Denies Being In The Movie

Andrew Garfield has had a couple of big movies come out this year, and that's led to the actor being besieged by questions about potentially returning as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home. He's continuously denied it, but that hasn't stopped reporters from asking again and again whether Garfield will be donning that familiar red and blue suit in the Marvel Studios threequel.

This time, however, it was Google that asked The Amazing Spider-Man star the big question!

Answering some of the "Web's Most Searched Questions," Garfield said this about potentially appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. "Oh, you almost got me," he said with a smile. "No, no, I'm not." Feigning anger, the actor added: "I'm not! Crying out loud - but I'm really excited to see what they're going to do with the next movie because I just love him."

Once again, we're left with the nagging feeling that Garfield is actually part of the Spider-Man: No Way Home cast, though it's a secret that the studio is clearly doing its best to keep under wraps for as long as possible.

Unfortunately, word from the premiere probably will leak online, and it's still possible Sony Pictures plans to drop a new trailer or poster confirming both Garfield and Tobey Maguire's roles in the blockbuster. Either way, it should be a very exciting couple of weeks for fans of the iconic superhero!

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
