SPOILERS for Spider-Man: No Way Home may follow.
Spoilers have been a trending topic lately due to the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film features many surprises for fans of the Wall-Crawler, and there's been a conscious effort from many online to keep information about the film to a minimum for those who haven't watched it.
The thing is, plot points are tricky to avoid. No matter how careful you may be or how many keywords you mute on Twitter, those pesky spoilers can come from the most unexpected of places. Fans of reality star Kim Kardashian received a surprise when she revealed major No Way Home moments on her Instagram stories after watching the movie (we are not going to post the pictures here).
Kardashian did remove the images shortly after, but the damage was done, and fans of the star were upset to have Spider-Man's latest standalone adventure spoiled in such a way:
In Kardashian's defense, she could have posted the pictures assuming that the no-spoiler window had ended. Still, while it may feel like the film has been out for a while, it's only been over a week since its release in the United States, and almost two weeks for various international markets.
The spoiler storm surrounding the film was so significant that someone who kept up with the various leaks would have been aware of almost every surprise in Peter Parker's latest adventure prior to its release. Hopefully, as it happened with Avengers: Endgame back in 2019, No Way Home will continue its impressive audience reach so that it can be more openly talked about without the risk of ruining it for others.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently in theaters.
