Sony Pictures has finally revealed a full list of global release dates for the extended version of Spider-Man: No Way Home coming to theaters later this summer, and you can find more details right here...

Spider-Man: No Way Home broke box office records last December, exceeding all expectations in that post-pandemic landscape and arguably saving movie theaters.

We're not remotely surprised that Sony Pictures plans to release an extended version of the threequel this September (well, unless you live in Indonesia), though it is a little disappointing that the rumoured extra 15 minutes will likely be the deleted scenes missing from the Blu-ray. They were advertised for the Home Entertainment release, but ultimately nowhere to be found on the disc.

Regardless, we now have a full list of countries where Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff Version will be available to watch on the big screen. The dates span from July 31 right through to October 6, with North America getting the movie one day before the UK (which makes a change!).

When we spoke to Tom Holland last year, we asked the actor how he hopes his Peter Parker will be remembered by fans.

"That’s a great question. I don’t really know how to answer it," he admitted. "I hope people have the same feeling of nostalgia that I do towards Tobey and Andrew’s movies. I was a kid when those films came out and they made me so happy. I remember coming home, bouncing around and jumping off the couch pretending to be Spider-Man."

"So if there are young kids who remember that through my movies," Holland concluded, "then that will be enough for me."

We're definitely intrigued by what this extended version of Spider-Man: No Way Home will include, and hope a trailer will be released shortly. It also wouldn't be a bad idea for Sony to finally drop a decent poster with all three Spider-Men front and centre.

Find out when Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff Version will be released in your country in the Twitter post below:

They really should have called it "Spider-Man: Cash-Grab".
Origame - 7/19/2022, 12:53 PM
@Waddles - Spiderman home run
Fogs - 7/19/2022, 1:02 PM
@AmySabadini - Got to make up for Morbius... Sad part is they'll laugh in the end.

@AmySabadini -

Spider-Man: No Way we're not finishing our theatrical run without hitting $2B
AmySabadini - 7/19/2022, 9:01 PM
@Tonic24k - LOL

Marvel started rereleasing their films with extra scenes back in 2019 and this DLC-style of release is not something we should support. I'm fine with extended versions being included with the home media release, but when I go to the theatre to watch a movie, I expect to see the whole [frick]ing movie.

I don't want to be punished for seeing the film opening weekend. I would prefer to resist this before it becomes a full-blown trend.
Origame - 7/19/2022, 12:54 PM
@Darkknight2149 - hopefully it's actually finished scenes, unlike the re-release of endgame.
philinterrupted - 7/19/2022, 1:16 PM
@Darkknight2149 - how are they punishing you?
Doomsday8888 - 7/19/2022, 1:02 PM

We did it, Amy...We've won.
We reached 2 bln at the Box office.
MyCoolYoung - 7/19/2022, 2:19 PM
@Doomsday8888 - put some sun glasses on him and smart hulk becomes cool hulk
LSHF - 7/19/2022, 2:50 PM
@MyCoolYoung - I realize that not everybody likes him, but I prefer a smart hulk to one that's angry and stupid.
MyCoolYoung - 7/19/2022, 3:24 PM
@LSHF - his characterization has been fine to me. My biggest gripe with smart hulk is things happening off screen. We saw a very public power struggle conclude off screen.

Although I realize that has nothing to do with what we actually got
LSHF - 7/19/2022, 3:47 PM
@MyCoolYoung - Yea, I hear you (or read you). The scene might not have worked in any film in any context, but it would have been nice to film it anyway and include as an extra on a Blu-ray or maybe even as a "One Shot" mini-film. But that would probably seem like a waste of money to them.
MyCoolYoung - 7/19/2022, 4:07 PM
@LSHF - I do think they need to bring the one shots back. They made a lot of money from endgame, you'd think money wouldn't be an issue but in that business it always is
Reeds2Much - 7/19/2022, 1:28 PM
Directors cuts of movies are already a scam, I'm not going to suddenly participate in it just because they decided to release them on bigger screens.
HulkisHoly - 7/19/2022, 2:32 PM
@Reeds2Much -

I’d say Watchmen and DD directors cuts are clearly the true vision of their respective directors and are far better than their trimmed down theatrical cuts.
Reeds2Much - 7/19/2022, 3:02 PM
@HulkisHoly - And I'd say being better doesn't justify full price, especially if it's the third+ version (Theatric, Home, Director's Cut, Extended, etc) to be released.

Should offer like 75% off if you trade in your movie ticket for a Director's Cut, and a straight 1:1 trade in for the home release. Give us $20 if we bring in both.
HulkisHoly - 7/19/2022, 4:02 PM
@Reeds2Much -

Oh I totally hate this DLC double dipping.

But I still appreciate director cuts if the original was shredded by the studios for the theater release.
bobevanz - 7/19/2022, 7:50 PM
@HulkisHoly - in this case it's purely greed, not studio shredding lol
grif - 7/19/2022, 2:35 PM
cant get past the first ten minutes of the movie. zero interest
marvel72 - 7/20/2022, 8:50 AM
@grif - I know what you mean but it does get better.

Spider-Man:No Way Home and Doctor Strange And The MultiVerse Of Madness are the best of phase bore.
MisterDoctor217 - 7/19/2022, 2:48 PM
It’s Spidey and I love going to the movies so I’ll definitely save up to go watch it 😅
LSHF - 7/19/2022, 2:54 PM
Well, hopefully the extra fifteen minutes will be on a later Blu-ray release. I'll buy it and help Amy get her "summer home" that Waddles mentioned. She deserves that, at least, for finally working with Kevin on the Spider-Man character.

Letting go of decision-making can be a VERY HARD thing for a Producer to do (or many others in some type of management position), even when it's in their best interest. Hurray for her! I think.
dagenspear - 7/19/2022, 5:55 PM
@LSHF - Why does working with Kevin specifically buy her that?
LSHF - 7/19/2022, 6:36 PM
@dagenspear - Because if she didn't, we wouldn't have got Spider-Man in the MCU with Marvel Studios having creative control, because she REALLY didn't want that!

And it's no skin off of my back if she gets a house; I just wanted things to work out like they have.
LSHF - 7/19/2022, 6:38 PM
@dagenspear - P.S.

What does "dagenspear" refer to? Just curious.
dagenspear - 7/19/2022, 10:34 PM
@LSHF - It's kinda a reference to Saw 3D. Back when those movies came out I was pretty involved in that fandom and the House Of Jigsaw message board (now seemingly apparently shut down), and before Saw 3D came out, the last name of a character for that movie was Dagen, and it reminded me of the dagon sphere, from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and I liked the sound of that, so when I made the account for HOJ, I used dagenspear, and have used it in some other places since.

Thanks for asking. Not many do. lol
dagenspear - 7/19/2022, 10:36 PM
@LSHF - I have some misgivings about MCU's involvement in it, for me.
LSHF - 7/19/2022, 10:58 PM
@dagenspear - Thanks for explaining. I'm not familiar with any of the Buffy stories (just some of the characters because I used to have a number of their action figures), but I liked the Angel series enough to buy the DVD box set years ago.

Anyway, your name sounds pretty cool.
LSHF - 7/19/2022, 11:04 PM
@dagenspear - How do you mean? Again, just curious.
FireandBlood - 7/19/2022, 2:58 PM
bkmeijer1 - 7/19/2022, 3:01 PM
No Netherlands? Get me Amy now, I wanna throw a sandwich
LSHF - 7/19/2022, 11:02 PM
@bkmeijer1 - That's funny.

I wish I could have seen her throw that at Kevin. Not because I want to see Kevin get hit with a sandwich, but because I want to see her lose it.

Based on all I've read about her, and all of her interviews I've seen of hers, I bet she can be hell to work for.
bkmeijer1 - 7/20/2022, 4:33 AM
@LSHF - the sandwich throwing is almost feels like a caricature to me, but when I read those things about working with her, it doesn't surprise me either
MrDandy - 7/19/2022, 3:07 PM
They really want into that 2 billion club lol!
