SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME - THE MORE FUN STUFF VERSION Global Release Schedule Finally Revealed

Spider-Man: No Way Home broke box office records last December, exceeding all expectations in that post-pandemic landscape and arguably saving movie theaters.

We're not remotely surprised that Sony Pictures plans to release an extended version of the threequel this September (well, unless you live in Indonesia), though it is a little disappointing that the rumoured extra 15 minutes will likely be the deleted scenes missing from the Blu-ray. They were advertised for the Home Entertainment release, but ultimately nowhere to be found on the disc.

Regardless, we now have a full list of countries where Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff Version will be available to watch on the big screen. The dates span from July 31 right through to October 6, with North America getting the movie one day before the UK (which makes a change!).

When we spoke to Tom Holland last year, we asked the actor how he hopes his Peter Parker will be remembered by fans.

"That’s a great question. I don’t really know how to answer it," he admitted. "I hope people have the same feeling of nostalgia that I do towards Tobey and Andrew’s movies. I was a kid when those films came out and they made me so happy. I remember coming home, bouncing around and jumping off the couch pretending to be Spider-Man."

"So if there are young kids who remember that through my movies," Holland concluded, "then that will be enough for me."

We're definitely intrigued by what this extended version of Spider-Man: No Way Home will include, and hope a trailer will be released shortly. It also wouldn't be a bad idea for Sony to finally drop a decent poster with all three Spider-Men front and centre.
