I have been staring at these two for quite a while now thinking what can I comment about the costume. The only thing I can say is that I like it. Looking at Garfield and that McNiven (this is a McNiven drawing right?)drawing I think the essence of the character is spot on, whatever that means I'm not sure. What I am just saying is that I do not have a hard time identifying that man on the left as Spider-man. Yes there are alterations on the costume and I'm not even fond of the color breaks on the gloves and the removal of the belt-like red on his waist but all in all it's not hard to accept him as Spider-man. I also appreciate that we are getting a slimmer Spider-man, Ditko would be proud.

My verdict is that its a good costume though at times it is trying hard to be hip and modern. Though we still need to see an HD quality look for the whole costume. I would definitely want to see clearly the changes they made on the mask.
