Marvel's Spider-Man has been in development for some time now, but with one more month to go, Insomniac Games confirm that the game is finished with a new take on a familiar meme.

Members of the #SpideySquad are rejoicing right now, & understandably so!

Yesterday on Twitter, developer Insomniac Games confirmed that Marvel's Spider-Man has officially gone gold, meaning that the game's code is ready to be pressed to discs. The tweet includes the classic Spidey desk meme redone in Spider-Man PS4 fashion, & Insomniac's thanks to PlayStation, Marvel Games, & the fans for the support on their long journey to make the best Spider-Man experience yet. This iteration of the popular webslinger will see him with a new suit, a new story, & new allies as he takes down villains from his rouges gallery such as Scorpion, Vulture, Electro, Rhino, Mister Negative, & more. 

 

The high stakes in Marvel's New York escalate, as Mayor Norman Osborn is willing to take no risks during his re-election bid. He hires Silver Sable & her security force, Silver Sable International, to restore order to the city - which includes stopping someone he believes is contributing to the mayhem: Spider-Man.

Or maybe like other totally forgotten about great gaming franchises like Super Mario, Metal Gear, Halo, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Gears of War, Grand Theft Auto... all completely forgotten about... because they are video games.... oh wait.

@StupidFlanders - Sadly probably not. PS exclusives tend to stay that way. Just look at all the Uncharted games and The Last Of Us.

@StupidFlanders - Only difference with that is Activision made crash, I think Sony got a years exclusive. Like how the last 2 Tomb Raider's were for Microsoft. But this is made exclusively for PlayStation as a first party title.

If you love Xbox then I'm happy for you but PS4>Xbox is one of the easiest decisions I've ever made as a consumer. The exclusives alone make me stick with PS4.

@Nightwing1015 - I own the Xbox One. I was about a year late to this generation of gaming so I went with Xbox literally only because most of my friends went with xbox and I wanted to multiplayer with them.... and I have regretted it ever since. I enjoy it, but the exclusives are dog shot and all the games I wanna play don't come to Xbox. I'm gonna get a ps4 when 5 drops and its dirt cheap so I can play all the games I've missed out on, then probably stay a Sony gamer from now on.

Just upgraded my mobile phone and got a free ps4 with it, arrives in 2 weeks but already pre ordered this! Spider-Man 2 was such an "amazing" game and really hoping this is as good as it looks!
