TASM 2: New Daily Bugle Viral Teases 'Carnage'

The latest Amazing Spider-Man 2 Daily Bugle piece is written by none other than future Venom, Eddie Brock; and teases the appearance of another, much more vicious symbiote -- perhaps for future movies? Take a look after the jump.

We know there's a Venom movie on the cards, and a Sinister Six flick too -- so with those spin-offs and more planned, it's not to much of a stretch to think we'll eventually see Carnage on the big screen. The latest Daily Bugle viral piece proves he exists in Amazing Spider-Man continuity at the very least

KILLER KASADY CAUGHT By Eddie Brock.

The greater New York tri-state area got a whole lot safer yesterday. Captured late last night, Cletus Kasady, escaped serial killer and notorious redhead, was eerily calm and subdued when he eagerly surrendered to the FBI. The manhunt for the FBI’s Most Wanted felon ended innocuously in a small strip mall outside of New Rochelle, New York.

A barista at a local coffee shop recognized Kasady and eventually called the police. The barista apologized to reporters later admitting she didn’t immediately alert authorities hoping Spider-Man would beat them to the scene. “What can I say? I am a HUGE fan.”

Kasady had been sentenced to twelve life sentences for the twelve murders he committed — but escaped while being transported between federal prisons. Sources say Kasady has been remanded to Ravencroft Institute for further interrogation until he is relocated to a maximum security federal prison. While the barista didn’t get her wish, we know Spider-Man thanks her… as we all do. For now it appears that Kasady won’t be causing any more carnage.

How would you like to see Kasady/Carnage introduced into these movies? In a future installment of The Amazing Spider-Man? Or as a foil for Venom in his solo outing perhaps? Sound off in the usual place.

A spider man film with carnage could be very dark and almost horror like.

Carnage has never been seen in a film before so this is really exciting. Would love to see Spider-Man, venom and carnage all in the same film/scene

Why do we need make up villains

When spidey has hundreds of villains from the comics

Matter a fact spidey has the most villains out of all the marvel characters

You guys really think Carnage is lame? LOL. You obviously haven't read the right material. That '90's cartoon didn't do him justice.

I was hoping we'd see Gwen die and then come back as carnage. Could you imagine in the middle of a fight scene between Spidey and carnage and then carnage's reveals her face to be Gwen Stacy....epic! Lol plus Emma could kill the part

I have always thought that Carnage was a terrifying villain. He might be Spider-Man's scariest villain. He is a serial killer that gets super powers. It is almost like if the Joker suddenly got super powers.

Guys, I think it is pretty safe to say that NO studio will be taking a chance on an R-rated comic book movie anytime soon.

Too big a risk.
