In our latest JabberTalky review we question whether Spider-Man really loves everything about being himself. Also, how do Electro's monologues compare to Mr. Freeze's, what is Sony's big problem, and how do Peter and Gwen compare among the greatest comic book film couples of all time? All this and more from your friendly neighborhood JabberTalky!

What would you score The Amazing Spider-Man 2? Did the multi-villain arc work, or was it just too crowded, and what does this film mean for the future of the Spidey franchise? Let us know in the comments below!

@AlphaAndDecima: That's probably the best way of putting it, it IS better than Spider-Man 3, but that's still after the HUGE canyon between the first two films and every other entry.

@cbmf20: I wish them the best with the third entry, but I'm worried this is their modus operandi from here on out.

Correction, Amazing Spider-Man 2 is so good it actually makes Amazing Spider-Man 1 better upon another viewing.

Raimi Trilogy is full of camp and bad dialogue/acting. TASM2 had like 2 moments of it, so get over it.

Sometimes it seems like some people here are totally allergic to romance.

It is certainly just as important as anything else, especially when it comes to a Spider-man movie.

Raimi failed the moment he gave Peter organic web shooters, lack of humor and under attractive Mary Jane as his first love. He even gave MJ Gwen's spot on the iconic Brooklyn bridge. Not to mention the power ranger we got served instead of a green goblin.

Web's series isn't close to the Spidey I've been reading for decades, but it's far from Raimi's. Which is fine by me. Way fine.

@AlphaAndDecima

Don't worry, I considered that before posting my comment.

Given that she died in the same fashion. In a fight between Spidey and Goblin atop a high structure with Peter having to decide to let her go or goblin. Not able to do either and breaking under pressure she dies from a broken neck wearing exactly the same outfit she had in the actual comic event. Not to mention she died at exactly 1:21am. Why 121?

121 is the number given to the actual issue of the Death of Gwen Stacy.

And Webb did give the actual bridge it's time in the limelight. So after thinking it over, I can accept this.

But what I commented on earlier, about Raimi. Those things, no matter how hard I've wanted to, make sense of it. Just can accept 'em. There were some things he did just fine on. But by comparison, Webs doing better. Not perfect. But IMHO, better.

Hopefully I acknowledged enough for you.

@Alpha

I'm good with anybody's opinion, even your's.

After all, these movies are based on comics, not the highest form of literature.

But then again, I could just be being biased.
