One thing I need to make clear: If Sony doesn't use Spider-Man as a main character in Sinister Six, the untitled female 'Spider-Man' spin-off and the Venom Carnage movie then all hope for Sony would be lost.
SINISTER SIX
Why is Sony throwing a Sinister Six film straight after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) which wasn't received well with audience? It makes sense to make Sinister Six the sixth film in the franchise. It also gives Sony enough time to develop each villain and not overload each film just to compete with Marvel and DC.
As I mentioned in my previous video: The main negative in the sequel is there are many subplot’s in the film such as Max Dillon not developed enough. The fight scenes ended too quickly. The only way to avoid this is to have fewer villains involved in each movie. Sony you would've had three movies before Sinister Six, subtract the Venom spin-off. You have 2/3 villains left to develop in two movies that means you don’t need to overload the future films with villains, if you do then we would loose our interest in Sinister Six movie when it finally arrives because we would have already got 3 overloaded villain films. Sony so the third film could have Green Goblin and maybe one other. The forth could have maybe Doc Ock and Vulture. Any other development of villains should be done in the Sinister Six film.
UNTITLED FEMALE ‘SPIDER-MAN’ SPIN-OFF
If Sony cannot confidently present a successful 'Spider-Man' movie how will they be able to show people a new character in a stand alone film? I believe it will be Black Cat, since Felicia Hardy is already introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) I don't see any other female 'Spider-Man' fitting in this current universe. I also don't see why Sony need a whole movie based on Black Cat? How would it be vital to the franchise? I think she could've teamed up with Spider-Man in another movie for one fight scene and that's it.
VENOM CARNAGE
This film is placed in 2017 is a very good move from Sony. My problem is the title 'Venom Carnage' At first it sounds cool however as a movie title it doesn't seem right. I would've chosen 'The Amazing Spider-Man: Venom' but hey even that's not creative, if you have any ideas let me know. Other than that I don’t have any hate on this film; I wanted Venom and Carnage to be in the film so I’m happy.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3
No Sony! It's release date should've stayed in 2016. I believe after you can lock in a trilogy then it's ok to start taking risks like doing spin-offs and other stuff.
Do you agree which what I have stated? Leave your thoughts down below.
If you were wondering what I would've chosen to do instead after ranting about Sony's decisions for 'Spider-Man' then you can check out my other video where I explained a brief story, it's villains and it's timeline for each movie. Check out the video below.
