DEADSHOT - TAKE OUT THE GUNMAN: Awoke when the light hit me, right in the temple. Felt some thing cold, touch my toes as it passed. Might not be the face you’d expect, but he’s clearly insane, got me pegged in the back. Just need a bit of the camera. Point the gun at the eyes. Or at the knees, had to shoot, had to fight. Gonna take out the gunman, bit of luck, get 'em up. Made to run for our lives, take out the knees, had to choose, had to fight. Gonna take out the gunman. Eyes huge, so little left if something. Cracks and clues, he’s crazy as a straw. Why denied, does no one care or nothing? How, you ask, I ever last so long. Cause I, I went blind, a blinding riot. He’s regretting every word, those empty lies. One more tonight, a blinding riot as I summon every nerve. I’m gonna take it out.
The alter ego of Floyd Lawton first showed up in Gotham City as a new crimefighter, but more often offered his services as a hired assassin and regular enemy of the Dark Knight, boasting his "never miss" guarantee. Deadshot's cybernetic eye grants him increased accuracy and provides additional mission and target data delineated inside his sniper rifle scope. He also uses a pair of silenced, wrist-mounted guns for close-quarters combat, and wears a distinctive metal face plate with a targeting device on the right side. Deadshot, played by Hancock himself, puts the suicide in Suicide Squad, his defining trait is an unending death wish, which often manifests with deliberately engineering situations likely to kill him. He often expresses disappointment at surviving his missions, such as immediately lamenting "damn" when awakening in a hospital. This devil-may-care attitude changed when Lawton discovered he has a daughter, Zoe, who was raised in a crime-filled area of Star City. Deadshot decides to do right by this daughter, and embarked on a lethal war on the local gangs that plague the area.
HARLEY QUINN - STRAIGHT JACKET FASHION: Don't stand around so far, it's empty. Just pull close these witnesses that follow. So trusting, there they go, and by the way. We last because we're colourful, and as for fools, just play the opposite. Cause quietly, you're overrated anyhow, and currently, you've spread yourself so thin. Climb up your pedestal to hang your, self from it. "A cold day in hell" is the phrase I used, when I never ever meant to change. His straight jacket fashion, can't believe he could, but I'd crawl a mile. To say that he should, this straight jacket fashion, I can't believe he could. Starve ourselves just to say, you know that you should. By the way, we last because we're colourful, and as for fools, just play the opposite.

Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzell was an Arkham Asylum psychiatrist who fell for The Joker's charms, and became his accomplice and female sidekick to the Crown Prince of Crime himself. She was fascinated by the subject while interning at Arkham, and volunteered to analyze him. She would fall hopelessly in love nearly instantly during their sessions, and she's helped him escape from the asylum more than once.
THE JOKER - LETO'S HEADACHE: This healthy, unhealthy voice sits Lennon for you. Your healthy, unhealthy voices. It's several for me, now who wants to live the soul's desire? Way down we're born to realize. One sobering thought was forced upon, we shall know. We'll know these slivers that warn our feet. Reminders joining us to the rest, to the worst. The worst is yet to come. To the rest, all the best. The best is yet to come, now who wants to live the soul's desire? A silent stare brings the creeping clone, won't feel you walking in but feel you walking out. Your silent stare brings us closer still, and all her wants out. Keep biting in, now who wants to live the soul's desire? Way down we're born to realize, one sobering thought was forced upon. We shall know, we'll know.
There are a few theories about this song's meaning, most prevalent however is that it's about Suicide Squad's Jared Leto. Chevelle are friends with the 30 Seconds to Mars guys, and they sound similar enough to perform together, something I was lucky enough to witness at an indoor ballroom show in 2009. But the real meaning behind the track might be even nerdier than you thought, if I'm reading this correct it refers to Leto Atreides II from the DUNE book series, who becomes god-like and enters a 3000 year life in "God Emperor of Dune" where he's precognicient to everything. Then again, the "Lennon" lyric could be a reference to Jared's 2007 method performance as Mark David Chapman - the deranged fan who assassinated John Lennon - in the biopic Chapter 27.
ENCHANTRESS - HIGHLAND'S APPARITION: See it startled, afternoon I had to ask, or dare I ever know? Tell us, we are demented. Watch as attention spans hold, so fast. Then go up in smoke. I don't think you're nervous enough. It happened to show its own face. Search for the soulless ends. Now point him towards rest. Culprits, shudder. Apparitions left in time if we're honest, sight unknown. Crowing, frozen, bedroom. Awoke up certain. Lays a tomb, her tree holds it. Unbeknownst, still sending chills. You won't find me curling up. A place that should make sense. Well, excuse me for this better judgment. Night is so worth waiting for. A blinding scare so cauterizing. Arms out pointing, sit and stare at this proof, this living proof. This proof, this living proof. Sun's up, braver. Hands and legs untouched. Before we forget, save this unaging proof.

Freelance artist June Moone was invited to a costume party at an old castle when she stumbled upon a secret chamber where an unknown magical being named Dzamor empowers her to fight all manner of evil presence in the castle. Yep, DC's Enchantress got her powers from meeting a ghost, and this standout acoustic ballad from 2009's Sci-Fi Crimes describes a similar spectral encounter.
LEX LUTHOR - ROSWELL'S SPELL: Life is always overblown, 'till we wake up, create some other needs. Yeah well, cries, heard from the man that knows. Let to witness, the cat upon a ledge. Heats source rained down. Dyad Scout craft. Hands reveal a meeting, but did they come? So I look at the eyes, straight to the soul doorway I. Look at the eyes, to know all you know. Find another labeled hoax, just as Roswell found another link. Reform witness, night abductions. You always felt a meaning, but did they come? Well, I look at the eyes, straight to the soul doorway I look at the eyes, to know all you know. And that's why I'm burning out inside, with a need to know. One self, well I'm burning out inside, with a need to know. Does anybody really see anything? Does anybody really see anyone? Lights, two miles wide, felt 'em lift, felt it pull. And that's why... I'm burning out inside.
KID DEVIL - ENVY: How will this pan out? Search and wish, so loud. Keep a candle burning. To each his own should learn. Before I turn in envy, I learn through sorrow I turn in envy and go... to the wall. See how the colors run? And feel your Sunday rest. Give me a name, bring it in, some change is for the best. I may not win the race, I may not reach the top. Or I may not live your way; It doesn't mean I'm stuck here. We may not fit the mold. Kind of going off well, the medicine inside takes a stronger hold. As we turn in envy, I learn through sorrow I turn in envy and go... to the wall. Before I burn with envy, I learn through sorrow I burn with envy and go... to the wall.

Eddie Bloomberg's story is one of jealousy and betrayal, the unwanted sidekick of Blue Devil is almost identical in origin to Jason Lee's Buddy/Syndrome from The Incredibles, whose prodigious knowledge of electronics wizardry allowed him to replicate his favorite heroes' powers. Until one evening, Eddie was visited by a cloaked figure who gave him an unlit candle, revealed by Zatanna to be a demon stick, forged in demon's blood, and lighting it will grant you your wish. Deciding to light it, his desired powers were imbued by the demon lord Neron, the capacity to breathe fire, enhanced healing, pyrokinesis, small retractable wings, red-hot skin and an internal temperature burning at six hundred degrees.
RAVEN - OUIJA BOARD: Are you up for anything? We're growing a fire, self explore your egoism. Pulling out that Ouija board, it's on. Never say die less you mean it. You're the salt of the earth left uneasy. Right or wrong if the world explodes, well you and I are one. Cuz we're growing a fire, self explore your egoism. Pulling out your Ouija board, oh no. How could you show 'em your weakness. Son of a bitch had no reason. Come along here's a seed of truth. You and I are one, we're growing a fire.
NIGHTWING - THIS CIRCUS: What did I have to lose being negative? I bled through the snow, then never set down. It's clear for today, you're sleazy at night. And soon as we heal we will run. Or start swinging. For below, there begging for it, I'm on my way, never settle. Always learning, people they beg us for it, I'm on my way. Better settle, almost there. This might just feed the mother of all our needs. Turning over here. Luck must fight over me, and never give in, to weird out the soul. Replace it with salt, I live within sight of this medicine man, how perfectly sure of this circus. I start swinging, we start swinging. 'Cause this might just feed the mother of all needs. Turning over, heard it oh so clear. The mother of all our needs, turning over, heard it oh so. Just run them off. Or grab and hold.
