The Suicide Squad trailer has been officially released in all of it’s glory and I am completely satisfied.

As I’ve said in previous articles, The Joker is my favorite character.

He is ….

* A Genius

* Totally Unpredictable

* A Psychopath

* A Sociopath

* An Anarchist

* A Criminal Mastermind

* Scary

* Flexible

* Extreme

* The opposite of Batman

But most of all, the Joker is free.  He embodies freedom, he doesn’t care what anybody thinks about him but at the same time, he understands people.  He is completely insane but he makes sense.  He is the smartest person in the room but he looks like a clown.

The trailer looks absolutely amazing, and I am positive that Leto will own this role.

The Batman v Superman trailer (which was also absolutely awesome) had nods to the Joker killing Jason Todd, and this is one more reason that I am falling in love with the DCCU.  Not only do they have nods to this crucial event taking place in the DCCU but I honestly believe that this Joker can pull it off, and enjoy performing the act.

Suicide Squad is now my most anticipated movie of 2016.

Also, Harley will definitely be a highlight

and this,

and everything else in the trailer....

@Nickk

I've been waiting to see the Joker on screen again since 2008, Suicide Squad will remain my most anticipated movie

and, Leto is going to own the role, couldn't be happier about this

Spoiler alert:

This thread has nothing to do with Suicide Squad and everything about Joker.

It's got the best director. I'd say it has a legitimate shot of being the best CBM next year.

I'm struggling right now between BvS and this. But both are my top 2 of next year. I am excited for Batman v Superman because of it's landmark in CBM history, the cast, the writer and director, and plot. But for SS, I'm excited because of Harley and Joker, Ayer, Waller, the whole [frick]in' cast, the crazy dark tone, and the everything, really.

So I am in-between lusting after both.

Who gives a shit. I'm just mostly excited for DC/WB to kick ASS next year.

@BatmanHeisenberg

Haha, exactly, I can't wait for both movies but Suicide Squad is #1 for me

B v S looks amazing, can't wait for that

And, if they keep up this quality, the rest of the DCCU is going to be amazing

@blackandyellow

Yeah man, that's how I feel Ayer is really talented and if the cast is going through half of the preparation that the cast of Fury went through, I'm sure that they will do this justice.

Ayer even brought a therapist on set, haha. I really hope the cast walks away from this with their sanity

Really liked the trailer. I hope SS is Rated R to get the general audience away from the sentiment that comic book movies are only for the family. We need more Hard R cbms and with Deadpool and (possibly) Suicide Squad being Rated R I think we'll be there sooner rather than later.

Short, sweet, and straight to the point.

Gotta give the dr a thumbs up
Honestly the joker was the only thing in the SDCC reel I liked but it's still early in production so I'm hoping for more. The will smith and his daughter clips they showed made me think we're getting force fed another will smith like me movie.
Killer croc looks boss!!!

Why can't 2015 just die already? Sure we got Star Wars come Christmas but, god damn if Squad and BvS aren't my most anticipated films of the decade

I had high hopes for this but after watching the trailer I'm no that hyped, not excited for this Joker at all.

Part of me feels like I'm being unfair because Ledger left such big shoes to feel, but it's like they just got off on the wrong foot with the tattoos and fake teeth and now I just can't like Leto's Joker.

I did like Harley Quinn though, and I will watch the movie first before I make my final judgment on this new Joker, but as of right now I'm not too excited.

I'll still be there opening night but that trailer just didn't do it for me. I re-watched the Dawn Of Justice trailer like 5 times but one time was enough for me with Suicide Squad.

I'm also going to wait until I see the trailers for Deadpool, Civil War, Apocalypse, and Dr. Strange before I decide what movie I'm anticipating the most in 2016. I'm going to predict that Dawn Of Justice and Civil War will stand above the rest though.

Right now the DCEU got me like...

I really hope they gonna use the dead of Jason Todd for a storyline of the next Batman.
And Jared Leto will be amazing, i'm sure of it!

I loved the trailer and Im excited about the film but I didn't give me the same feeling the BvS trailer gave me. I think thats a good thing though, cause it leaves room for the film to surprise me and be awesome.

I'm still ready for 2016 tho!

They are both so neck and neck for me. Whatever happens, I can say the DCEU is my most anticipated thing, like, ever.

It just seems like a joyless morbid depressing movie to me. I guess It might be because I don't know anything about suicide squad but I always thought it was meant to be kinda funny?

They are botgh pretty close in anticipation for me. I am waiting to see all CBM trailers before I decide. One thing is for sure. 2016 will be one helluva year for CBM's.
