SUICIDE SQUAD Star Margot Robbie Says She Received Death Threats After Playing Harley Quinn
Despite a negative reaction overall, most fans seemed to enjoy Margot Robbie's take on Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. However, the actress has revealed that she received death threats for her portrayal...
The general consensus on Suicide Squad seems to be that while the movie itself was disappointing, the cast was mostly on form, with Margot Robbie in particular coming in for a lot of praise for her wily take on Harley Quinn.
Well, we now know that there were a few sick "fans" that most definitely took issue with her portrayal.

While chatting to THR about her career so far and the downside of achieving celebrity status, Robbie revealed that she was actually sent death threats after the film's release.
"You're about to be in a comic book film; now here's the worst-case scenario of how big and scary it can get. There's just all this stuff you learn along the way, like, when you get those death threats, it's [smart] to have a security team do a background check on whoever sent them to see if there is any past history of violence because you'll need to know whether you need security to go to certain events."
We knew there were more than a few whack-jobs out there in the fan community, but this is a whole new level of demented.
Robbie will reprise the role of Harley Quinn in at least another two still-unnamed DC projects, the first of which may begin production later this year.
