The Suicide Squad director James Gunn has previously suggested that all bets are off when it comes to which Task Force X members will kick the bucket in the movie, and recently indicated that a lot more than just a handful of the crew will be killed when he called one fan's character death predictions "overly optimistic to say the least."
It sounds like even that might have been an understatement!
When asked specifically how many characters were going to die during an Instagram Q&A, the filmmaker came right out and said "Almost all of them." Now, there's obviously a chance he's exaggerating here in an attempt to hype up the carnage fans can expect to see, but if Gunn is being on the level, we can probably expect no more than 2 or 3 of these guys to make it to the end credits.
Most assume Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) is safe, and Peacemaker (John Cena) has his own HBO Max series on the way (thought that might turn out to be a prequel), but beyond that? Like the tagline says, don't get too attached!
