Promoting his action, fantasy, thriller Sucker Punch in a lengthy video interview with JAKE'S TAKES, Zack Snyder, director of Warner Bros' Superman reboot, cleverly hints at a certain character appearing in the film familiar to the comics.

Discusses potential elements from his previous films that'll have some affect on Superman at the three-minute mark, Snyder begins "hinting" near the four-minute mark, so check the video out below.


"There could be a character in the movie that other people might refer to as 'Superman'"


Evidently, while 'Bizarro' may be a stretch, in the comics, via Wiki, the character was created by writer Otto Binder and artist George Papp as a "mirror image" of Superman in 1958. And Since then various iterations of Bizarro have appeared - often, but not always, as an antagonist to Superman. What do you think?

Anyhow, with Henry Cavill playing Clark Kent, and parented by actors Diane Lane & Kevin Costner as "Ma" & "Pa" Kent, Superman: Man Of Steel is slated for theaters December 2012! And special thanks to ElijahV for the tip, and Rudyao for the art.

It's a joke.He never said people would mistake him for Superman. The guy asked for an Exclusive, Snyder can't give him any real information, so he says "There's a character some people might be called Superman" in his Superman movie. That's why they laughed and said "I don't know if it's an exclusive..." because Superman's in the Superman movie. People are just over analysing.

There's nothing there. He's making an obvious joke on purpose as if to say that's all that he can give away. He doesn't say that anyone mistakes the character for Superman, he says other people (as in the general public) might refer to him as "Superman", which they do.

You know what, the Bizarro idea isn't too far-fetched but I could also see this as a red herring. Hard to say for now. The more these little tidbits come at us and we all play at the whole speculation game, the more I look forward to this flick.

hmmm, sounds more like he may be fighting doomsday and might be killed, thus bringing the imitation supermen. the man of steel, the man of tomorrow, the metropolis kid, and the last son of krypton. which would explain the need for such talent on all aspects of the movie. there could be a 30-40 min span where there is no superman. which is fine with me if the movie settles in somewhere in the 2 hour mark or could result in a 2 movie span or 3 or w/e.

Wow.It is very obvious he is joking and pretending to give a scoop that someone in the movie is called by some people Superman (he actually means Superman hence the joke ! get it? duh). There will be no Bizarro but, this will leave it open to debunk this rumor two days from now.
