Sears Holding Corp. partnering with WB has decided to take on one SUPER task; to break the Guiness Book of World Records Most People Dressed up as Superman. Sears Holding Corp. is located 1 hour away from Plano, IL where the city doubled as Smallville. Throughout the movie Sears has been strategically and practically placed, and even a few easter eggs have been found on the www.shopyourway.com/manofsteel website.

Can the headquarters building in Hoffman Estates beat the world record? I'll let you know at 12:30 CST, I personally just picked up my costume and booked my calendar. I'll be there.

I believe the record is 407 people, so 408 and wins the nod, the 75th Superman Celebration is doing the same thing so the record maybe short lived, but I'm hoping we can do it.

So it's the man of steel world record and not a superman world record? While I know that's his nickname here I thought this was a record by the upcoming production in question.
