Michael Shannon Eyed For Superman Villain!

New reports indicate that Zack Snyder's Superman: Man Of Steel is eyeing Vanilla Sky actor Michael Shannon presumingly for the villain of the reboot! Make the jump!

According to the ever-reliable Deadline, Zack Snyder's Superman reboot is in the midst of casting (one of) the villain(s). And while a few a names have been mentioned this past week from oppiste sources, the site now reports:

"I'm told there's interest in Michael Shannon. Neither the studio nor Shannon's reps were helpful. "


Shannon coming off the first season in HBO's Boardwalk Empire, hes most known for his roles in Vanilla Sky, as well Pearl Harbor. And while the villain is undisclosed, what do you think?

Anyhow, Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, and Kevin Costner stars, while Superman is set for theaters December 2012!
