Good. Serioulsy the superman bias gets a little ridiculous at times. Im sorry but last time I checked the power comsmic beats a kryptoian with powers given to him by the sun.

I believe the polls are wrong....Superman can contain a nuclear blast by him self...and while Surfer is strong, fast and has the cosmic power...can he really defeat Superman? Superman is basically a battery, so any yellow star he is near is going to enhance him and lets face it..in brute strength alone he is stronger than the surfer..idk. I think it would be close, but ultimately...surfer would loose.

I am SO sick and tired of ignorant DC fanboys who think Superman and Batman can beat anyone that Marvel dishes out.

The reason Silver Surfer was trapped on earth was because A.) Galactus contained him and is one of the most powerful beings in the universe, and B.) Silver Surfer may be powerful, but he's still Galactus' puppet. He's the one who gave Surfer his power by tearing off a small chunk of his own.

Now onto the results. The reason the Silver Surfer wins is because he possesses the power cosmic. That literally allows him to do anything he wants. He can destroy worlds and create new ones. He can evolve life on a planet-wide scale. He can survive deep space, hyperspace, and even within black holes. He can travel backwards in time. He can phase through shit. He can augment his strength to be even greater than Superman's. He can rearrange matter, including Superman's genome, thus supressing his power.

Seriously, the Surfer is so far out of Superman's league. It's not a fair fight at all.

Silver Surfer is pretty ghey.

But then again, so is most of the Marvel U.

@T2: I agree. Superman is quite possibly the most annoying superhero of all time. and Batman is not too far behind. the main reason for that? DC writers and their Fanbase.
The only DC character that im a fan of is the Flash (mainly the Wally West version), he was cool (sorry Barry Allen, lol).

Oh please. People with common sense voted for Silver Surfer. Judging by all the people that voted Supes, I'd say more anti-Marvel fanboys made a difference on this poll than anti-Superman fanboys.
