For the last few Saturday's I have been asking the CBM community to voice their opinion on "what if" battles between famous superheroes who have either appeared in or soon will appear in a motion picture. The previous match ups have not been very close in their outcome but this last week was a little different.

This Saturdays match up pitted the two powerhouses from Marvel and DC (although it was not intended to be a Marvel vs DC match up) and the outcome was surprisingly close, to say the least. Superman started out so strong that I was convinced THOR stood no chance, and yet he steadily gained ground on The Man of Steel. The outcome is by the closest margin yet and I wonder how different it would be if the Draw option would not have been included.

Once again, the POLL received over 2500 votes and once again, I give you the results.

Sorry, but I just can't see Supes winning. It would be a hell of a fight.

But Supes don't kill, Thor has killed.

Supes is weak against magic, Thor IS magic powered.

But, to be fair Supes ahs the speed and heat vision.

Seriously though, I love Marvel comics and the characters they have put out over the years (Wolverine and Spider-man being at the top of that list), but how could you believe that any of them could possibly beat THE MAN OF STEEL??? Like I said before, Thor might be the God of thunder and all, but Superman is F@#$ING SUPERMAN!!! End of story.
P.S. I thought the 'Draw' votes would have been higher. Oh well.

Personally, I voted for THOR and I think if more people knew more about him, the outcome may have been different. I voted THOR before I added the Draw option and in my mind, I see each of them walking away the victor 5 out of 10 times. I think they are as even as it gets between comic books the heavy hitters.

This poll people, shows who is truly no. 1 in our hearts. Superman always. Doesn't matter how powerful Thor can be, he's just a brute with a hammer & Superman's the main man. Kneel before Kal El hippy long hairs lol.
But in the Batman vs Captain America, i dont know. Batman's good. Love him. But Captain America's a pumped up super soldier. But if Bats is bringing some of his nice toys & gadgets, well who knows? He's also the world's best martial artist!

Egh. I figured Superman would win in the poll, even though I voted Thor. Not that big a deal. In regards to Cap taking on Batman, however, I do have one thing to say. I'm not sure how well recieved or not the series was, but in the DC v Marvel crossover thing, Batman v Captain America was one of the main matchups. Batman won. Admittedly, this is completely based on reader votes (that is how they determined the winners for all of teh matchups) so there is some bias involved, and I am not saying I agree or anything. Just stating a fact. I, personally, am still in contention for this one. Must think...

Ah, I never read that. Although, Batman could simply be acting humble, or perhaps to plant a subconscious seed of overconfidence in Cap's head in case the situation ever arose? I don't know, perhaps Captain America would win. I still haven't decided.

To anyone that thinks Thor having the Odinpower would make this fight easy... yes, it would, but only if wasn't currently being used to hold together Mjolnir. Also, to those that think that Supes superior speed would give him the easy win... yes, it would, if Thor wasn't also a bullet-timer.
Superman still wins though, he's just got that little bit more (and I'm an avid Thor fan and collector) with their current levels.

Thor is alot more powerful than the hulk , when the hulk gets mad he is stronger but in overall power thor is way more powerful . He is kinda stuborn when he fights the hulk so he doesnt use all his other powers on him , and just tries to fight him straight up . As for superman i still say Thor wins that one no matter how popular superman is Thors vast array of powers would just be to much .
