Not long ago we had an anonymous source saying that Russell Crowe will be dressed like a warrior of Krypton ( He looks more like a Homeless man version of Odin if you ask me ) and according to the pictures below that source was correct.
Some of you maye be shocked because of Russell Crowe smoking but you have to look at the bright side that if Russell Crowe wasn’t addicted to nicotine we would not be seeing the really cool Krypton costume that he is wearing. I can just imagine there will be a very cool action sequence at the start of the film with Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon.
This seems to be one of the cool spins that Nolans story is taking with Supermans origin and I think it’s cool. Like the Mark Waid Superman I think this will have Kent travelling the world and learning humility and eventually the sense of responsibility that will make him step up and wear the cape.
DC / WB are banking on this movie as well as The Dark Knight Returns. If Man of Steel comes out a winner like we all know Batman will, Then DC will still have another shot at a sequel for Green Lantern and many other DC characters (FLASH, JLA, AQUAMAN, PLASTICMAN, ATOM, TEEN TITANS...etc.)
