All these guest stars are fine, as long as everything is pushing Clark towards becoming Superman. Anything else this season is just filler.

This guy was pretty bad as AC. If any of the team that Smallville calls the Justice League should come back, it should be Impulse. Not this dude.

Nice, he is a nice Aquaman for a tv series, but of course not for a movie. lol
Still I hope Rosenbaum to come back :)

@ dealpool72 "career killer"? You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Many of the actors/actresses have gone on to better things.

As for Aquaman, this guy looks like a good choice for Aquaman, but his acting ability was horrible in the start. Now he is just bearable.

What the [frick] is wrong with this show? He is on a show on Spike TV with the guy that played Clark Kent's best friend on the first few years of SmallVille.

@weneedrevelation You did not actually come onto a Comic Book Site and say...

"What if I'm a villian on a city in a land locked country? What the hell is he gonna do then?"

Oh wait. You did. sigh. Ok.

Aquaman has superhuman strength. He can exist at depths that would turn your human body into jelly. Since he exists on land quite well he can also pound you into the same sort of jelly with his fists. Clear enough? Consider how strong you would have to be to swim at 6,000 MPH. He is King of the Sea and akin to a god in the comics.

@Darque..I hear ya. But really,The only stories he is ever interesting in are the ones involving his city or the ocean. Space adventures? Hell, Batman fits better in that sort of scenario. Point..Poor mans Namor.

Aquaman is a very underrated character.
The uneducated morons who think Aquaman can only swim and talk to fish are hating on him but yet they know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the character.
Superstrong,Agile, can swim extremely fast, communicate with sea life(whales/sharks anyone?). Not to mention he is the king of HIS OWN UNDERWATER KINGDOM. Plus he has a hot wife Mera. Namor has a green speedo and wings. Don't get me wrong,Namor is cool and all but come on! Talk about bad costume.

This is my opinion.

aquaman is such an underrated character!

namors powers are basically the same as aquaman, wiki both of them!!!

eventually dc will make an aquaman movie and change all this bull**** reputation with him.

people obviously are not reading brightest day, aquaman has been great in it!

aquaman has hotter chicks as well, mera, sirens etc.
jim lee has also stated he would like to update his costume at the san diego comic con panel.

I perfered Justin Hartley as Aquaman in the TV pilot. He was a much better Aquaman than a Green Arrow and better than this guy.
Ryden
Ryden - 9/7/2010, 3:57 PM
Namor is miles ahead of Aquaman, on pretty much everything. I don't hate Aquaman at all, I think he could be a really cool charcater if done right but Namor is just dominant of Aquaman in terms of powers, personality, stories etc etc Namor's just more unique and interesting, because remember he IS the first Anti-Hero.

A lot of people don't care about the environment..let alone the oceans and marine life...no wonder aqua-man is irrelevant and has lame powers to some people. Maybe I am looking into too deep ( no pun intended). But, Aquaman has his place in the DC Universe and definitely from a ecological perspective.

Official Description of his powers for all of you that think his powers is limited to telepathic abilities with marine life.

The new Aquaman has many physical abilities in common with the original Aquaman, including underwater breathing, submarine speed, and superhuman strength. Like the Golden Age Aquaman, Arthur can't survive outside of water for long. He also gained telepathic powers. He now speaks and understands the languages of the sentient sea peoples unaided, and has a limited ability to communicate with nonsentient sea life. He cannot speak directly to them as his predecessor could, but can send and receive emotional impressions and desires, such as communicating a need for help. He is working to expand the latter ability, and in one instance has been able to "see" through the eyes of nearby fish

@ weneedrevelation

yes thats the aquaman i want,i think it was peter david who wrote the original story way back in aquaman issue 2.

when he wanted to reinvent the charactor,he cut off the guys hand & replaced it with a harpoon spear head.

classic.

When was the last time you read an Aquaman comic?
Because he's much more than that now. Maybe he started off as "Dr. Doolittle of the sea" but is no longer just some guy who talks to the fish. He's the king of the mother-[frick]ing ocean.

He IS esstantially POSEIDON
