The CW has picked up smallville for another season because of its success with season 8. The Issue began with Tom Welling(Clark Kent), about whether he'd return to smallville and because the ending of his contract with the show, his contract was only for 8 Seasons as for the other actors as well. Issue has been resolved, and now smallville season 9 will return with all its original cast members in the fall along side supernatural. Season 9 will be more focused on how clark fell in love with Lois Lane, more doomsday and how he became The Man of Steel / Dorky News Reporter. So just when you thought They were done, you thought wrong, we still need to see clark put on the glasses, tights, and cape... season 9 looks promising! and who knows, maybe a possible season 10 is on the way, or even better....
