Entertainment weekly is reporting that in the season 9 finale of Smallville, a "major castmember" will be killed off. They are also stating that after the death of Jimmy Olsen in last years season finale anyone is fair game. Well, obviously Clark and Lois are probably safe, but outside of them it could be any of the major characters. No definition is given of what is considered a major character, i.e. is it a regular cast member, or possibly a minor cast member who could be considered a major character, such as the Martian Manhunter. The series finale is scheduled for May 14. Guesse we'll have to tune in to find out. If you follow the link they actually handicap the characters and give reasons why they may or may not be the doomed party.
So all you Smallville haters go ahead and start with your bashing. And the Chloe haters go ahead and start with your prayers that she be the one to meet the grim reaper.
