Says TV Guide.com, "While on the hunt for Darkseid, Clark Kent's cousin Kara (Laura Vandervoort) will join forces with Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley), who is searching for a way to remove the Omega symbol from his skull. 'Oliver is faced with this cold reality that he's not going to be able to get rid of this infection just by willing it away,' Hartley tells TVGuide.com. 'He goes on this journey to try to get rid of it.'"

The episode, he says, is about the characters discovering things about each other, and recognizing that there's more to each than is apparent on the surface.
