So I have never done a review before. This episode seemed like a good place to start, so without further adieu let's begin.

First we start with Lois in Egypt for the Daily Planet. She runs into Carter Hall and they talk about love and destiny. Lois doesn't believe that she is important to Clark's destiny, but Carter says other wise. Pretty good scene between the two especially the part about Nietche's Ubermensch aka a Super Man.

Cat's anti-hero stance is a fairly new take in the Smallville universe. It's fueled by a radio host named Godfrey. Given this season's Big Bad is Darkseid. It's a given that this is Great Godfrey, Darkseid's propaganda minister. It is in Darkseid's interest to put the emerging heroes back in the shadows, thus Godfrey is part of that plan.

The (re)introduction of Cat Grant on the show as an anti-vigilante activist is an amusing development. In the comics, she's become a thorn in Supergirl's side. With the return of Kara next week, I wonder if Cat and Kara will throw down on Smallville?

The portrayal of Deadshot as a cowboy type was interesting. I don't know if I like it that much. We'll see him again, and he may grow on me.

Finally, at the end of the episode, we see the end to the Batman-esque Superman. We see Clark rocking a red leather jacket with the S shield embossed on it and a blue undershirt with a Superman hair style.

All in all a solid episode. It did have its fault. Hey it's Smallville, so comment below and please no negative comments just what you thought of the episode. Please no Smallville sucks comments.
