Superman FINALLY to Appear on Batman: The Brave and the Bold

The Superman Homepage, via i09.com, is reporting that the Man of Steel will finally be appearing on the Cartoon Network series Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Offers the report, "The show finishes off the first half of its second season with part one of a multi-hero team-up against Starro the Conqueror. According to website io9.com, including tonight's episode there are 28 new episodes set to air and two of those episodes will feature Superman. Superman will show up on his own in Brave and the Bold's own version of the first Superman/Batman team-up from the comics. (I think they meant the Silver Age version, not the recent Jeph Loeb version.) And then later, there'll be a 'Trinity' episode featuring Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman teaming up to face some greater threat. ('Thank Geoff Johns' for getting the show the rights to include Superman and Wonder Woman, producer James Tucker says.)"

I for one am glad they saved Superman for the final season. We've seen enough of the A-listers in other DC shows. Brave & the Bold has been a perfect showcase for minor and forgotten heros. Loved seeing Booster Gold in tonight's episode.

Not a fan of this series, but I might have to tune in to those two episodes.

I lost interest after Batman The Animated Series and Batman Beyond were canceled. Personally, the only movies they've released (that I've seen)that are worth watching are Mask of the Phantasm, Batman: Subzero and Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (Uncut Version). The others have great cast members, but the writers totally shaft the source material!

@bleedthefreak

If I remember, the producers said they deliberately wanted to avoid using the A-listers like Superman and the Flash so that they could focus on exposing kids to lesser-known heroes.

And nice find, but it's old news. I'm pretty sure they said they were using Superman and Wonder Woman way back at Comic-Con.

It's def a show aimed for kids, but it has some great team ups. I still think my favs are the ones with Robin.

this show is aimed to much towards the kiddy market.

batman is meant to be dark & moody, not like how his portrayed in this.

@ superkalbatrormachinekiller

why am i a douche, batman should be like all of his other animated shows more adult.

not this crap,if you like it fair enough thats your problem
but i want a more grown up batman.

not something i can watch for about ten seconds & then have to turn off.

the good thing is that this show is only gonna have a third season and then its over, rumor has it that a new batman show is on the works and it would be darker

Wesley: Check out Batman- Under the Red Hood. I can honestly say that it is as good as Mask of the Phantasm. And I don't say that lightly- Mask of the Phantasm ranks as the best Batman movie ever in my book.

Brave and the Bold is among the best shows on television today, and I'm glad that Superman will finally appear on it. Good to hold him off for a while though, to give some other heroes time in the spotlight.
