Parker Posey, who plays Lex Luthor's (Kevin Spacey) girlfriend Kitty Kowalski, in Superman Returns talked about her character.

She told Sci Fi Wire that her character builds on Eve Tesmacher, a similar character played by Valerie Perrine in Richard Donner's original Superman movie. She gets to wear stylish clothes and carry a Pomeranian through most of her scenes.

"I'm in the Valerie Perrine part from the original movie," Posey said. "She is ... the girlfriend of Lex, and of course, he wants to take over the world."

Kitty is evil but not too evil. "He wants to destroy the world, and she doesn't want to," she said. "She [has] much more conscience about the world around her. She is into pretty things and money, but Kitty has a heart. And, yes, she has a change of heart. ... She is torn between materialism and love, but Kitty kind of wakes up. It's cool."

Meanwhile, EA Games has launched an official Web site for the videogame based on the movie which hits store shelves June 28. You can see the trailer for the game, read news, view game features and check out media here.

Superman Returns opens June 30.
