INTRODUCING JAY GARRICK - Jay Garrick (guest star Teddy Sears), a mysterious man fromEarth-2, appears at S.T.A.R. Labs with a dire warning about an evil speedster named Zoom, who is set on destroying The Flash. Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team must decide if they can trust this stranger even as they face yet another powerful meta-human. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) must deal with a determined officer named Patty Spivot (guest star Shantal VanSanten) who wants to join his meta-human task force. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing.

Between the differents Earths and the shapeshifter device that Eobard Thawne used last season, this show seems to have picked up a few pages from the Fringe book.

Just noticed a huge Easter egg that's been right in our faces this entire time. Watch any episode with the CCPD building look at the gold mural the says Justice. You will see Jay Garricks helmet, WW, Arrow and Aquaman!!!!!

Very happy with Teddy Sears as Jay. Jay can be wooden because he is so stoic but Teddy managed a good balance. I really hope he gets his speed back soon.

@BreadPitt interesting theory....I think it's still earth 1 as aforementioned by the show, but it's just an alternate TIMELINE and not an alternate earth/universe. It's an alternate time line within earth 1
