The Lone Ranger, directed by Gore Verbinski and featuring Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as John Reid, the Lone Ranger, is a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid, a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.


The Lone Ranger is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and hits theaters July 3rd, 2013.

Regardless of how or where it started, like it or not, the MCU is now a Disney franchise and will be for the rest of our lives.

I hope it's good too. I don't particularly care for westerns but I do have love for the Mouse House (their 90's films were a large part of my childhood) so I'd be glad for them to have more successful franchises under their studio and not just from Pixar and Marvel.
