In a new Gatorade commercial for the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, the sports drink company hired Rick Famuyiwa to direct the likes of Paul George, Serena Williams and Usain Bolt - universally recognized as the fastest man alive for a new spot promoting the gold medal hopefuls ahead of the start of the competition. It's unlikely that the commercial will give us any insight into how Famuyiwa plans to shoot the Flash but it's undeniably meta that he's directing the Fastest Man Alive in both comics and the real world.
In related news, Famuyiwa was recently spotted in London and confirmed via social media that he was on his way to the set of the Justice League movie. How do you think the exchange between Famuyiwa and Zack Snyder went?
