Bleeding Cool News snapped this photo of a poster that popped up outside a UK theater. The article titled “This Is What Happened Because The Americans Didn’t Get Thor First makes a good point--the film with the later release in America has quite a high priority on any foreign bootlegger’s list. It's funny that under these particular conditions the movie theaters have to step it up due to the extra fight they are getting from the Thor pirates. The comic book movie strikes again…

From Bremdon Connelly, BleedingCool News:
"The above poster is hanging on the wall, taking pride of place outside my local Vue multiplex. In the words of Mrs. Connelly “Well, I haven’t seen that before”.
We Brits have had Thor in our cinemas for five of the last six days (Monday, and then Wednesday onwards), and it isn’t out in the US until Friday. Fear of piracy is understandable.
But, of course, while these measures may have made some difference, they didn’t make enough of one. The horse has already bolted, albeit a horse that speaks Russian.
A couple of Little Bleeders have pointed out that a camcordered version of the film with Russian audio is whipping up a storm on the torrents. I wouldn’t be surprised if some people reading this have already downloaded it.
I am going to close out this post with the same sentiment I will end every post on piracy: it’s theft, it’s wrong, nobody is just entitled to watch or own whatever they want. Capitalism is rubbish and unfair, I know, but stealing is a good part of why."

I'd rather Marvel makes all the money it can if means we get to see Ant-Man and Dr Strange sooner. I for one can wait until Friday and invest the $11 to watch the movie. Besides, Thor will probably be on Blu-Ray about 3 or 4 weeks after Captain America hits theatres.

I'd rather pay and see it in all it's Norse god glory than see a crappy copy online with no surround sound. The window to see movies 30ft. high is short and I'll have the rest of my life to watch it on my TV.

this just shows the impatience of some people. It will be showing here in the states soon enough. As for piracy itself, I have no real problem with it, except maybe with Rifftrax or little films, where it might hurt the little guy. I have no such compassion for the big studios. Downloads are fine by me for films I only want to see for b*tching rights.
