Karl Urban Wraps On THOR: RAGNAROK

Karl Urban has completed filming on his scenes as Skurge the Executioner in Thor: Ragnarok as the actor made the announcement on Twitter yesterday evening. What role will Skurge play in the film?

Without Enchantress many comic book fans are wondering what role Karl Urban's Skurge will play in Thor: Ragnarok? In the farewell tweet from Urban to director Taika Waititi, it seems we can just make out a glimpse of pre-bald Urban speaking to what looks to possibly be Valkyrie or Hela (it's really blurry so it could be anyone really).

Ragnarok began filming in Australia on a private set on July 4th before shooting on location in Brisbane, with its streets partially reconfigured to resemble NYC.  Mark Ruffalo wrapped in early August, suggesting his role may be minimal but Urban was on location for roughly 3/4 of what is rumored to be a four month shoot - suggesting that his role is more substantial.

How do you think Skurge factors into the third solo Thor film which also features Hulk, Loki, Odin, the Grandmaster, Hela, Heimdall, Valkyrie, The Eternals and possibly Surtur?

@MarkJulian -

Yeah, I can see that, a quick mention or what not. But not like Thena, Sersi, Zuras etc showing up. I do hope starfox is in this somehow, or a future movie.
