Retro New THOR: RAGNAROK Logo Revealed As Surtur Is Finally Confirmed To Appear In The MCU

Marvel Studios revealed a very unique logo for Thor: Ragnarok during their Hall H panel just moments ago, but without a doubt the biggest news is the fact that Surtur is going to appear in the movie...

While it has yet to be officially released, those lucky enough to currently be sitting in Hall H were just treated to a new batch of concept art from Thor: Ragnarok. According to various Tweets (those are all we have to go on at this stage, but one came from Marvel's own Agent M, so that's as close as we'll get to confirmation), it featured Hulk in his gladiator armour, Hela, and - wait for it - Surtur. Seriously!

Fans have been waiting for years to see that fiery villain on the big screen, and it appears as if he's definitely going to be part of the biggest Thor movie yet. Hell, with the way this one is shaping up, it may very well be Marvel's biggest release to date! After all, we're getting elements of Planet Hulk, Hela, The Grandmaster, Loki, and now Surtur. Hopefully at least some of this art will find its way online.

Until then, here's the new logo for Thor: Ragnarok. It's definitely a little different to the last one!
