THOR: RAGNAROK Director Taika Waititi Returns As Korg In REVOLUTION 2.0 Motion Comic

We have no idea what became of Korg after Thanos' attack in Avengers: Infinity War but a new motion comic promoting Marvel's Contest of Champions sees Taikia Waititi reprise the role. Check it out!

As well as directing Thor: Ragnarok, Taika Waititi donned a motion-capture suit to play Korg, a Kronan revolutionist who teamed up with Loki to rescue the God of Thunder and the rest of the Revengers when Asgard came under attack from Hela. While there was sadly no sign of him or Miek in Avengers: Infinity War, this new Contest of Champions comic brings them back for another revolution.

While Waititi is voicing the character, this video clearly isn't canon and that probably explains why Korg ends up choosing the likes of Valkyrie, Red Skull, Heimdall, and Original Doug as his champions!

This is fun little video and one which will no doubt get fans excited about Korg's inevitable return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whether or not that will come in Avengers 4 remains to be seen but a fourth instalment of the Thor franchise has to be coming in Phase 4, so we'll no doubt see him there.

Lol I wonder if he survived and if he did, how they'll handle the humor in Avengers 4

@Spock0Clock - You probably know this, but Taika helped write and direct a number of Flight of the Conchords episodes. So...present!

I had a layover in New Zealand for like, one hour and I couldn't talk to any of the attendants there without seeing Taika in everyone.

I have to say as much as I loved Thor Ragnarok I was disappointed with Korg. I know these movies are just adaptations of the comics but I always believe it is important to stay true to the character from the comics. KOrg in the movie was nothing like he was in Planet Hulk story. It would have been better if he wasn't in the movie at all.
