Alright here it is...

So,

Now I have to be honest, I somehow didn't trust Branagh at first.
That was what I was thinking, while I was making my way to the cinema. Next thing I know, I am seated and I kindly request for a man next to me, to stop playing with his mobile phone (cause of it's light).
Everything is good. As always went to the bathroom before and wore a comfortable pant.
Boom! The "Thor movie" film roll included two nice trailers from the Marvel family. I saw the "Captain America" and "X-Men: First Class” trailer on youtube like most of you, but boy it sure makes a difference seeing it on the big screen and in 3D. I had goosebumps. You know that tingly feeling...
And then...It was time for "The Mighty Thor". I love movie scores and that is the first thing I came in contact with. So let's start with that. Composer Patrick Doyle really impressed me. His music managed to make me shake with joy during so many countless scenes.

The music right away had an impact on me. So there was a win. Now let's get down to Mr Hemsworth. Hemsworth is that guy. He’s that guy like RDJ or Ed Norton that bring your childhood heroes to life. This guy was truthful to his roll. Whether it's being a god that controls thunder, an arrogant warrior or a boy who just wants to go home. That guy is Thor. Anthony Hopkins playing father Odin. I can't think of any other actor who could embody him. Like Jon Faverau said "I knew everything was gonna be alright when they casted Robert Downey JR for Iron Man”. Well I knew everything was going in the right direction when Hopkins came on board. Someone I just couldn't get enough of was Tom Hiddleston playing "Loki". That actor...my god. What he does with Loki is pure talent. I could’ve seen this guy play Loki for another five hours. Maybe it's because in general humanity is fascinated by evil. In my personal opinion "Thor" the character...is greatness drawn on a comic page, but Loki...wow.
yourself.

I just like Rene Russo. I like her acting, her looks and she was more than one could imagine to embody Odin's wife Frigga. I would love to see her in another Thor film.
The three warriors and Lady Sif kick ass big time. The director chose great actors to represent these iconic characters from the Marvel universe. Now to someone who has pulled a lot of controversy ever since he was casted. Mr Idris Elba. I always envisioned George Clooney playing Nick Fury one day. Hey, Sam Jackson nailed it and so did Idris Elba, by playing the gatekeeper of Asgard, he certainly did a fantastic job. I really wish I would have seen another hour with him though. Yes, as you all know and it's been indicated in the Trailers, that the frost giants are partially the antagonists of the motion picture and I will not be going into detail. I wouldn't advise anyone though, to see the movie in 2D because you will miss out on all the "frosty” fun.
Let's look at the mortals. Natalie Portman is my dream woman. Yes, she could wear a banana suit and still be awesome. Let’s be serious. She had one or two lines which I would have directed differently but other than that, representing a human that has feelings for a god, is so nicely acted, that I really don't have anything to complain about. Nope, Mrs Portman is great as always. Stellan Skarsgård and Kat Dennings, they work in a perfect ensemble with Portman. I read reviews where people complained about Kat Dennings character having one or two too many cheesy lines, but hey so what? I am watching a super hero film to have fun as well. So what if it's going on facebook? Guys stick to your comic book if you are gonna whine about Idris Elba and Kat Dennings.
Clark Gregg playing Agent Coulson is fantastic. I loved him in Iron Man, you didn't know who he kinda was (character wise). In Iron Man 2 you knew that you couldn’t joke around too much with the guy ("I will watch the Super Nanny while you drool onto the carpet”). Although he has his serious moments, he still remains that guy you actually really like. He has that "coolness" to himself. You guys remember that little cat and mouse game with Tony Stark right ? AC:"We need you" TS:" More than you know" AC:”Not that much”, that cat and mouse game, the teasing. You have that in Thor as well. So that's the part concerning Agent Coulson. What can I say about Mr Kenneth Branagh. He did it. He had a vision for Norse mythology and put it onto the silver screen, showing wonderful tie ins to that Marvel universe, we have all come to love. I want that guy to be there to direct every Thor movie. That says a lot. It's quite a responsibility, he had with Thor. Hey he did it. The CGI had me sold, ever since I saw the trailer. I mean come on, we all know that this stuff doesn't exist but hey...I am going to the cinema to be transported for two hours into another world, that’s far away from my world. Everyone who worked on this film did a fantastic job bringing gods and mortal to life on 35 mm film. This is what I wanted to see in Thor and I was overwhelmed, by the stuff that was put on top of my expectations. It wasn't just a cherry on top of the whip cream, it was chocolate sprinkled pieces on top of the the whip cream and cherry. I loved it.
Now to that post-credit scene.
Literally everyone was wondering, why I was still seated even my father thought I was off my head.
In the cinema I went to the staff, that didn’t even know that Marvel attaches extra scenes for every film. I had to call the manager up, the day before. This is what I said "I waited a long time for this film so please play this movie till the very end" and they did. Still thinking I was crazy though.
My lips are sealed...but...I had a massive grin on my face. Unlike the other post-credits, this one has some nice surprises for you guys and it's a bit longer than he other ones, we’ve seen so far.

So...
Thor is an epic 35 mm film. It's outstanding that's what I want to see when someone want to present gods. Full win !

I hope you guys enjoyed reading and got a bit more excited and sorry for the delay.
Have fun watching it !

@SpaceGhost: Maybe it really is true?

I'm not an editor. I'm certainly not one of the 'favoured'. I've only ever written two articles and two reviews. But they ALL made main (without me ever asking).

My Thor review was written just before JoshW's (an editor), but he didn't "kill" mine in favour of his - they both went up.

Write fairly decently and I suggest you have as good a chance of any of making main.

Not having a go, but perhaps it really is as simple as that - or that there are already enough articles about the same thing already on main. Maybe?
