Thor Three Warriors Spin-Off

Thor Three Warriors Spin-Off

With Thor doing well both critically and financially well there is talk of making a Three Warrior Spin-Off.

This is a quote from Kevin Feige on the possibility of a Spin-Off
“You never know,” says Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who says his company is certainly looking at spinning out secondary characters in the tradition of the comic books if the audience interest is there. “What's fun to me about the Warriors Three is that people seem to like them. People like the way that they were presented in this movie, and their main note might be, 'I want to see more of them.' I think that for ‘Thor 2,’ if we should be so lucky, that there's an opportunity for that. But you never know.”

This quotes from Rey Stevenson and Josh Dallas:
“It'd certainly be pretty sweet," Dallas tells PopcornBiz. “Never assume anything, but yeah, the Warriors Three would have some good times, that's for sure. Anything is in the realm of possibility. It hasn't been mentioned that I know of, but you never know.”

“The more the fans clamor, the more chance there is,” agrees Stevenson. “There's an untold story of the love that is there with the Warriors Three – I don't know if people are ready for it,” he adds with a suggestive wink.

I actually wouldn't mind a Warrior Three Movie, since I enjoyed them in Thor, what do you guys think?

I could see that....but IDK, could they really hold a film together?

@ComicCritic87
Most likely they won't be able to hold a movie together.

This is good. The Warriors Three weren't in Thor enough.

I would like to see their roles expanded upon in the sequel as well as seeing Balder

It will never end up happening. The fact that Thor isn't performing as well at the box office as other superhero films is because of the drop in notoriety in comparison to bigger named franchises. The Warriors Three are the same exponential drop from Thor's level as Thor is in comparison to Batman and Superman. If it isn't a priority to do a film about Doctor Strange (who is even less known than Thor amongst the mainstream audience), they certainly won't look into spinoffs.

The film has double its budget, along with future dvd sales, merchandising. They will have and made plenty of money.

@ToeKneeManGo, what TayDee said.

As of May 19, 2011 Thor has made $367,386,830 worldwide according to box office mojo. That's with only two weeks of being out. Superman Returns made $391,081,192 worldwide, and Batman Begins made $372,710,015 worldwide. That was both films being in theater's over 120 days.

I do agree about the Warriors Three not getting there own movie, just don't see it.

I could see War Machine getting a movie because they can follow through on many different source materials. Whereas the Warriors Three have been deeply routed as Asgard Only characters that we could not see them hold an audience, considering that we have not seen much of them in the film to develop their individual personalities. All they need to do is really give us a broader focus on some of the secondary characters like them, plus Sif as a romantic interest and of course....BALDER!!!

I don't think "the warriors three" in the movie were anywhere near as good as they are portrayed in the comics.

It was probably the one and only disappointment that the movie held for me.

That said I would still see a "warrios three" movie but I believe that there is a "saturation point" when it comes to these spin-offs.

They would make a great movie. A little mission from Odin and then off they go.

I would like to see it if it happened as they were a bit underplayed in the Thor movie. The only way it would work though, is if the movie had cameos from Thor and Odin to give it some substance, and they would need to be portrayed with more humour as the comics, a kind of Three Stooges/Marx Brothers with swords.

will never happen. just because Fiege says 'you never know...' doesnt mean it will.

It will never happen. Besides there are about a dozen marvel films I would rather they make instead. I would definitely go see it if it were made.

I don’t really want to see anymore Solo Captain America Films. He is at his best when he is helming the Avengers. Or at the very least commanding a Shield squad.

I would rather they made

Iron man 3
Avengers 1 (currently filming)
Avengers 2
Avengers 3
Thor 2
Thor 3
Astonishing X-men movie.
Planet Hulk.
WW Hulk
Black Panther
Dr Strange
Cosmic Marvel Movie. (Silver Surfer, Thanos, Drax, Adam Warlock)

But more over I just want more “Marvel” films I don’t want to see a Fantastic Four film where they deal with a global threat and not one other Marvel hero is seen. (yes I know there are studio issues there)
