Earlier today we got wind of a rumor that 'Thor' would be screening at this year's SXSW. We now know that information to be false, it was the work of Dan Carlson of Pajiba.com. He hasn't
Here's his original Tweets leading up to his final confession:
"Just found out the #sxsw Secret Screening is THOR!!"
Then followed it with:
"Just found out that the AICN 15th anniversary screening will have 20 mins of footage from CAPTAIN AMERICA!! #sxsw"
And:
"CORRECTION: The #AICN screening at #sxsw is a work print of Super 8!!"
Carlson finally fessed up:
"Sorry all. Been making stuff up for kicks. The #AICNscreening is actually THE ENGLISH PATIENT. Apologies for the confusion." #sxsw
So there you have it, rumor debunked, and I think it's safe to say there's a certain someone who will be getting an awful lot of hate mail.
Let the nerd madness begin!

" Well, the reality about SUMMER films - especially this summer's films - they require an awful lot of visual effects work, in most cases fx work up till 3 weeks prior to release. Now I did have an October film for a bit of time and an August film for another bit of time, but the reality was - both those films were works in progress and eventually they decided they needed to at least get finished first."
