In about three months from now, principal photography for Thor: Ragnarok is expected to be in full swing in and around Queensland, Australia. While we’re still waiting for Marvel to officially announce the director, let alone which actors will make up the principal cast and also what the 2017 threequel will be about, stars Chris Hemsworth and Cate Blanchett have respectively discussed what they’re looking forward to the most, in terms of preparation.

“When I was here [in Australia] years ago while doing some press, and talking to people, they were [asking] ‘when will you bring a film back here,’” Chris Hemsworth told GQ when asked how he got Marvel to bring the Ragnarok production to his homeland. “When [Marvel was] talking about where [the movie] was going to be shot, I said, ‘Why can’t it be Australia?’” He continued, “[We] just kept pushing, and that became a bigger conversation. And you know, it landed here, and I couldn’t be happier. A lot of my friends are going to be on that production; people I’ve worked with and known for years.”

“The role in [Thor Ragnarok] came completely out of the blue,” said Cate Blanchett during a recent SK-II video interview (below). “And it’s a gift because the thing that I said to myself this year is that I’m gonna get fit.” During a separate interview, the Aussie actress reiterated wanting to get fit, and also expressed excitement to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “I’m super, super excited about it,” she said of Ragnarok. “I’ve only done action a couple of times, so it feels like… a departure is too strong a word, but it certainly seems like a change for me. So, I am looking forward to getting really fit, and wearing lycra, and hoping to earn a bit of street cred from my kids. I can’t wait.” What do you think?

Still a little unsure about this movie and the direction they're taking with it, but having Cate Blanchett in it is definitely a good thing!

She was up for a DC movie and decided to go to the competitor's team! What does that tell you! We're in the worst state we've ever been in!

Make DC Great Again!

Movie's going to be awesome. Taika Waititi is just as talented a director as Ryan Coogler if not more so. Seriously, this movie has awesomeness written all over it. I think you guys should keep an open mind, this movie will surprise the hell out of you. I'm sure of it. Just watch his film 'Boy' and 'What We Do In The Shadows', he has the underdog formula that fits James Gunn, and the same sort of grimy but fun atmosphere to his fantasy work that crosses Peter Jackson territory, and Guillermo Del toro creativity. Seriously get acquainted with his work, guys. You might be more at ease.

@Luminus - Here's Noah Webster's definition. He was a Christian btw:

U'NICORN, n. [L. unicornis; unus, one, and cornu, horn.]

1. an animal with one horn; the monoceros. this name is often applied to the rhinoceros.

@Ramiel - That's not Webster's definition. I just looked it up:

Full Definition of unicorn: a mythical animal generally depicted with the body and head of a horse, the hind legs of a stag, the tail of a lion, and a single horn in the middle of the forehead
