Say what you want about the Transformers movie, but they always have the best visual effects.

I don't care what any body say, I think this movie will be great!

I think Michael bay finally got his head right, and knows where to take this story.

He seems he not only wants to make a coherent story...but a better one.

Can. Not. Wait.

Also, Michael bay is the most practical effects guy in the business. You can trash his story, characters, but his visual effects is always a highlight.

I hope we get to see Auto-Bot city.

It doesn't even have to a robot, kind of like a base of the Auto-bots.

Man you ARE funny, the same exact thing was said with Revenge Of The Fallen and Dark Of The Moon before they came out. How will this be ANY different???

How will this be any different? Ummm, different cast, different robots, different stories...how is this not different. We literally know little about what will going to happen. Revenge of The Fallen...ok I'll give you that. But I think DOTM was pretty good.

Oh yeah...THIS IS MY OPINION. Nothing you say will change what I think about this movie. :)

VFX doesn't make a movie good, but it makes it more tolerable than it were to be.

The only reason i'm seeing this movie is to finally see the dinobots in a live action movie. But knowing Bay he'll probably [frick] that up too.

The people on this site make me crack up sometimes, especially when it comes to the TF franchise.

75% of the people on this site bash Bay for his handling of the franchise. But the truth is, of those people, 90% of them will be in the theater opening weekend.

I can respect people's opinions and all, but it's funny to watch how bashing Bay has evolved into becoming the cool thing to do.

Just enjoy the fun of the movies guys. That's what effects-driven, action movies are supposed to be, remember?

@optimusprimetime - your wasting your breath on this site, friend. Liking bay apparently means that you're "low-brow" around here.
This is the same group of people that says that Iron Man 3 was garbage,
but Thor 2 is a masterpiece... Like you, I also respect and appreciate others opinions. Especially when they are expressed intelligently and actually make me see a point of view that I didn't before. That said, the bias on the site has become frighteningly obvious... And trendy, as you pointed out.

No, not every movie is good. At the same time, every movie is judged by the same standards... Especially by critics... Especially on this site...

only reason I'll watch it is the explodeyness in front of me

@MoonDoddyX I agree with you. i have noticed this site is sorta bias when it comes to movies not coming from Marvel studios. Explosions with a weak story may be Transformers but in my own opinion so was the avengers.

MoonDoggyX - 11/21/2013, 4:50 AM
@blacksuperhero4 - Exactly! I'm not saying that people HAVE to like transformers. Its just strange how people can love the Avengers, then bash Dark of the Moon when they are so similar. I'm not even going to get into how many thing avengers copied from Transformers. Or how the misplaced comedy in the climax that people bash IM3 for are also in the Avengers. Or how people bash other Man of Steel or TDKR for plot holes, but ignore all the plot holes in Avengers or Thor:TDW.

Avenger was considered epic on here before the movie came out. Surprise, every one that saw it thinks that its epic. Iron Man 3 was bashed on here for the plot twist before the movie even released, and now everyone says the movie sucks...

MoonDoggyX
MoonDoggyX - 11/21/2013, 5:02 AM
As far as Transformers goes, they are bashed on here because they used to kick Marvel's butt at the box office until the Avengers came out. Actually, the Marvel movies to this day to out perform any of the Transformers films are IM3 and the Avengers...

So, the "marvelites" rebuttle to this was that the Transformers series appealed to the "lowest common denominator" of society. That the explosions, over-the-top action and sophmorish humor appealed to the low brow middle americans and such. that sound like any other movie to anyone???

People praise the Avengers because of a better script. It was well written. Not only that, the movie focused on the superheroes themselves. The TF movies made the human characters the main focus instead of the transformers themselves, they were sidetracked. Give Bay a good script and he'll deliever. Can't wait for this movie.
