Whether you liked the movie or not, there is no denying the power of Transformers at the Box Office. Now we know when the Transformers will unleash an onslaught on the DVD retail market and that day is right around the corner!

According to "Nelson" the admin at Michael Bay's official site, we are only getting the movie on September 30th, with special editions and box sets to come later on in the year...

The first is just the movie.

The second is the 2-disc Special Edition set.

And the 3rd is the trilogy (6 disc) in a special metal encasement. There might be different versions of this across the globe.

That box in the form of the AUtobot logo is one of the early concepts for the the international trilogy.

"Transformers 3" features Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. The film centers around the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets

So the question is, are you going to be purchasing this when it hits store shelves or are you going to pass? Leave your comments below!
