Michael Bay spoke up about the recent Showest clip that has been pulled from the Internet and reveals what movies the NEW ROTF trailer will be attached to:

"The Showest footage was pulled down because it was just a 12-hour thing.

I just wanted the fans to get a taste of what we have been making for a year and a half because we have been so quiet. The piece was cut about a month ago for this Showest thing I accepted this past month - so as you can see many of the shots were far from being finished renders. This dinky little site received over 1,500,000 hits and 550,000 downloads in this short time. Anyway the trailer is being printed today and coming out on Wolverine and Star Trek. 64 days left'!

loved that! . still hate what happened to jet fire..... still want robots that resemble Beneration 1 .... how i wish. THERES ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO LOVE TRANSFORMERS, AND I KNOW THERES THOSE PURISTS THAT WANT IT JUST LIKE THE CARTOON..BUT AFTER SEEING THIS, EVEN THOUGH BAY AND THE WRITERS TOOK LIBERTIES AND CHANGED UP A FEW THINGS..YOU HAVE TO ADMIT, EVERY SHOT IS EYECANDY.

if you remember Gen1 of transformers Optimus got pwnd a lot of the time, they always won because of Optmus tactical advantage over Megatron not strength.

Thanks for clearing it up, didn't get into Transformers til later on so I didn't know that.

It's looking like Prime will meet his maker in this, hope Hot Rod is in it then! Just a brief glimpse at the end even would be good.

One word WOW!!!! This movie looks like it will be better than the first. Devastator actually looks wicked cool. Optimus looks like he gets his ass whooped throughout the movie. And the Fallen, a crinkly old robot at first then a teleportin badass. Super stoked for this movie.

Oh eightball69 Optimus gets his ass whooped all the time b/c he is the ultimate leader he will sacrifice himself for any biological creature from human to robot. He is the perfect example of a martyr.

If your talkin about the cranky grandpa sounding one at the beginning thats Jetfire not the fallen.  I just hope someone can explain to me if thats Blackout at 0:34 to 0:37. That has to be right. I wonder if theirs any others bay left out that are reprising their role. Doubtfull. But, anyway, I hope thats blackout.

Prime was stronger than Megatron in G1... His only weakness was his compassion. Prime beat Megatron straight up in the original movie until Hot Rod jumped in and got taken hostage.
